Welcome to my site. I’ve worked diligently to bring to you the cases/news that affect me, and I’ve spent tireless nights wondering how to shed light on circumstances that plague us. What you read on this site is sometimes harsh, what you read on this site is sometimes conflicting with your own beliefs, that does not change the facts. What my mission involves is giving you a story, then presenting my opinions. Some people see it as gospel, and some people view my thoughts as close minded. I’m secure either way. Hopefully you get something out of my blogs and hopefully you find yourself wanting to return. It’s not our likeness that makes us unique, it is our differences. These writings below speak to a specific problem that we are faced with, men and women alike. I wanted this to be my front page topic, as this is how I initially got started writing. This is not meant to be offensive, but it is meant to create a dialogue about what we say to our children about their parents, be it absent or not.

 

Have you ever thought about turning your child into a monster? Have you ever thought about giving your kids drugs as an experiment? Have you ever thought about neglecting to feed your child and giving them the nourishment it takes to live? Have you ever thought about not giving your child water? Have you been considering lately not to buy your kids clothing? Do you think that it’s better for your child to be behind than ahead? Do you find yourself on your knees at night praying that something terrible happens to your child the next day when they leave home?

Do you find yourself wishing that your child had no one to love him or her and that one day someone would come along and abuse them as you’d hoped for? Have you found yourself wondering if a kidnapper would just come by your house and snatch up your child while you sit in the living room and watch? Have you thought about telling your kids that you don’t love them and neither does God? Have you told them that no one listens to their prayers at night, so why even bother making them? Have you told them that?

Have you reminded your children today that they are worthless and that they were mistakes that could have been avoided? Have you told them that they are not worth taking the time to invest in their education and that they probably won’t be anything anyway? Have you instilled that into them yet? Have you drilled into their heads that they are ugly and that no one will find them attractive? Have you told your daughter that they will need to be whores in order to make it in life yet? Have you told your sons that they will need to become thugs in order to get respect? Did you also tell your boys that robbing someone is the best thing to do in order to get money? Have you told your daughters that they will need to marry a rich man in order to make it in life, since they could never have anything on their own? Have you told your daughter that they will never be respected for their minds and that they need to start having sex immediately in order to to get respect?

PAS is defined as one parent being the mother or the father of a child illegally taking their child from the other parent. Cutting off all ties and severing the relationship. It is illegal because most parents take the child despite a court order granting permission for the other parent to visit or have contact. Congress has done nothing to pass laws that would alleviate this problem and it is widespread in our communities. Awareness is key.

IF YOU THINK THAT TELLING YOUR KIDS THESE STATEMENTS IS BAD, THEN WHY TELL THEM NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT THEIR OTHER PARENT? WHY CHOOSE TO ALIENATE THEM? YOU ARE HURTING YOUR CHILD AND THEIR FUTURE IS BEING DESTROYED. STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

 What good is man when the only thing you have is greed and lust and the desire to see a person not for what they are, but for what you can get from them? What is life if it can be taken so easily. What is the law that we will never follow and Who is God that we will never listen to?

Have we lost so much to ourselves that we don’t hear God anymore? Have we thought so little about our conscience and our after life that nothing matters on earth anymore? Who is thinking about heaven and hell anymore? Who is thinking about God as their master? Who has gotten out of bed this morning and said, today I will stop with my evils and I will turn a new leaf? What man has said this? Not I. I haven’t. In fact I have decided that it is best to fight for what I believe in no matter what the cost, I have decided to fight for my life no matter what anyone calls me and to state my claim to be on this earth as anyone else. And if that be evil, then I am prepared to be evil If that fight would lead me to prison, then let that evil arise. Let no man think that he is above the law, let no man think that he is above reproof. Let no man think that there is not a higher power that he will one day have to answer to, but let every man think that what he does to his brother will not matter in the end. Let every man think that the soul that houses itself inside his body be no good and that no tally of his works will be given. Let no man believe that there is a book of life and let no man desire to be a part of it. Let no man utter a word of goodness and let every man speak evil of their God. Let no man love his neighbor and let not man find peace. Let no man find the strength to look his brother in the eye and say to him I love you, but let every man speak of his hate. Let no man occupy this space on this earth in peace, but let every man quarrel with his neighbor and sleep with his wife. Let the walls of Love come tumbling down and let the wall of Hate be built. Let the gate of forgiveness be closed forever and the highway to destruction be widened for more passengers to get through.

If this is what we are to let happen in our lives then what is man that God should love and what is man that God should care about? What is man that God should be mindful of him?

One of the most misunderstood blacks ever to grace this earth with his presence. I admire him and his ability to change. Let’s think about our actions from today on out. I think about the legacy that I pass onto my children and to their children and so on. I want to make sure that we have done a great thing here in our society as blacks and those that support our cause for freedom. There have been many whites and other races that have seen in it their hearts to fight for us. Although we were brought over here as slaves, people have fought very hard so that we can have freedom. Although I get a lot of white people that send me letters and tell me, Ericka, I was in the war in Iraq, and I was fighting for your right to freedom. Hell no, that’s not true, I believe that war was called “The civil war” I tell them that the Iraq war is about oil. Not even about terrorism. His fighting spirit is still with blacks today. This man was killed by his own brothers. Yet, his own would not receive him after he came to the true knowledge of his religion. Malcolm realized that all whites were not the enemy and became a true inspiration afterwards. His followers could not accept the change in him. They chose to only believe in their hateful theory. Though they did have just cause.

How promising to see the dream and speak of it, but even more rewarding to actually see the dream fulfilled. What this country was founded on and what is actually practiced is not in sync. Murder is never the answer. Violence is never the answer. We need a system in place that will root out the problems in our country and let’s get this show on the road. He was a man of peace, but many words. He fought for equality throughout the African race and he believed that it could be done. Martin Luther King was admonished by many African Americans and he had many leaders that supported him, however, it was the white hatred for the black man that killed this man. He is forever in our minds and we will never forget the legacy that he has left behind. Martin Luther King, said, “I might not make it to the mountaintop”. Guess what? We are here.

Senator Obama has the same dream, and to think that we have to face the idea that someone didn’t raise their child right, but instead has told them to hate. Hopefully all who were involved in the plan to assassinate our presidential hopeful Barack Obama, they should receive their reward. Itr would alleviate some of the problem, but not all. We still have to worry about the terrorist hate groups in our country, as well as securing our borders. We need to fight so that the fear is not instilled in other blacks that will be interested in running for office. We have senators, governors, but now we need to elect a president. Vote for Barack Obama.

it was said that Obama moved the flag from his jet and that he was unpatriotic. Yet where is Mccains Patriotism? He’s next.

Now here we go, people said that Senator Obama doesn’t want to support the American Flag, well hell, the way people treat blacks in this country, why the hell would any black wear a flag pin? I don’t and I don’t own any. Why would I place a pin on my body for a country that has given me their ass to kiss? What am I insane? You treat me right, then I’ll wear your pin. You call me nigger, then I don’t. It’s that simple.

If we had a president that cared about black and their needs and gave us what was promised during the restitution period, then maybe I’d be more patriotic. The one thing that I don’t agree with that Rev Wright said was “God Damn America!” That was dead wrong. You never say stuff like that. No matter how angry you are. Some of the other stuff, well I don’t remember everything, but a part of me feels like the chickens have come home to roost. Especially when it comes to the economy. I’m not that sad when I see white people struggling, since we’ve struggled all our lives. I’ve been homeless, literally, I’ve lost my house before, I’ve lived in a homeless shelter, don’t let me tell you all I’ve been through, and now they finally get to see how we do it. I say good for them. I feel bad for the innocent children, but when I was homeless, my children were too, so…..hey. Latinos that think they are white, this Asian chick chaining herself to her house, at one time, I bet she tooted her nose up at a black man or woman. You figure it out. It’s not affecting us lower class or middle class blacks, since they weren’t giving us the credit anyway, but now it’s kicking their ass. I will tell you, a lot of black people are saying “finally they see how we feel”. It’s true. I can’t attack everything that Rev. Wright said, but I know that some of the same views that he has are the same views that John Hagee and Rod Parsley had. And both of them were close associates of John Mccains just before he got the nomination. Trust me, I have been around, I know what I’m talking about. Don’t trust me, then fine, go and study for yourself. You’ll come back and say that damn Ericka got me again.

Barack Obama is proud of the country that is proud of him, that’s the way I feel. If you are proud of me, then I am proud of you. What more can you ask for? How can you think that you can enslave black people and then sell them, and then beat them and then rape them and then force them to your language and your ways of treachery and your ways of credit and then teach them to worship your blueeyed god, yet,  you cry, “He won’t wear the American flag”. Sorry bunch of cry babies, I say, Kiss my booty, treat me right and then, I will pledge my allegiance to the flag. Until then Not!!!! what are we dumb? Did you like the Kiss my booty part? LOLOLOLL I did.

Casey Anthonys attorney is told “Hands Off”

Jose Keep your Hands Off

Jose Baez is being Mr. Touchy feely. Sources from the 33rd street Jail where Casey Anthony is being held is informing the media that they have had to correct Jose Baez on numerous occasions to keep his hands off of his client.

He (Jose Baez)  has continued to repeat this behavior, even stating that he was unaware of the rules at the facility, however, if his behavior won’t change, then he won’t be allowed to represent her anymore. It is being said that he is also in danger of having a new trial set for her, the correctional facility states that there are no hugs and hand holding allowed. No personal contact whatsoever, since contraband can be passed that way. Hopefully Jose Baez will take heed and not overstep his boundaries from this point on.

I have been saying that their relationship seems a bit close, and since Jose has spent so much time in her home and by her side, it’s just a matter of time that emotions would run high between them. Hopefully he is smarter than that. They have been spotted holding hands and being extra close, for attorney/client relationships.

I’ve been trying to get my numbers up to 10,000 visits and yesterday, you guys did me a great service and pushed me right over that number. It means a lot to me to write for you, even though I get something out of it also, I really do it for US. You guys have been so faithful and your responses have been great!

Even in the beginning, when I was getting cursed out, a lot, as you can see from my writing, I don’t write to make everyone happy. So I do get cursed out. Let’s continue with our journey and I learn so much from you. I am starting to like some of you, even the ones that tell me off and call me horrible names. I told you people in the beginning that I like it rough.LOLOL Get your mind out of the gutter folks, I’m talking about being honest.

You people know that I am radical, and yet you keep coming back for more abuse, well I have a lot of it to give. I just love our love -hate relationship. Even though I know that most of you absolutely love me!!!!!!

Halloween, One holiday, I don’t celebrate!

South Carolina, a man and his 2 sons were just coming back from a function, and as his wife drove them around, they decided to stop at a few houses to get some candy. Unfortunately as the mother and wife waited, the 3 went up to a house with the lights on and were shot.

A 12 year old boy died at the hospital, and his father and brother all escaped with minor injuries. All for the sake of trick or treating. This is so scary. Let me tell you my motto.

I would never and I mean never, go to a strangers house and beg for food any other time, and I won’t be doing it for Halloween. I don’t celebrate Halloween. Yes I like scarey movie, and yes, I love to play dress up, but no Halloween for me. As a child we did, but not now. It’s a useless holiday to me, with the exception of the candy and the treats and social gathering. Other than that, it sucks. I wish that people would stop allowing their children, think about it, your children, go up to strangers houses. I don’t believe in children doing any time of solicitation. Now don’ t go giving me attitude and saying, but Ericka how can you say that when you look your kids on a protest. Yeah and there also 5 news stations there watching me live. You figure it out. Daytime, with media, nighttime with strangers, no media. Hum, not too bad. Anywho, folks keep your kids safe, and stop being so dumb. Stop being trustworthy with everyone. You know that there are fools out there. What’s wrong with you guys?

This is what I do for Halloween. Well last night, I had a really really really really good time, wow, it was good, yummy yummy, enough of that. I had a great time.

I would tell you, but nah, you’re too young for that stuff. I will give you a hint. It was hot and steamy. I couldn’t get enough of it, and man I could have it like that all day and all night. It was so good, I wanted to share it with everyone. It was hot and they were juicy and tender, and the sauce was just the right temperature, not too hot and spicy enough for a little extra kick. I found myself licking my fingers when I was done. If you were with me, I would have given you some too. You would have loved it. Pizza, and hot wings, oh yeah, they were sooooooo good. Yummy. Gotcha!!! you had your mind in the gutter didn’t cha? Hey one day, I am going to send you guys a steamy scene from one of my novels that I have written. He found her in the break room sipping a cup of coffee. He didn’t drink coffee and that was something different between them. He analyzed her mood before he approached her. “Good Morning,” he said. She jumped when she heard his voice. He had obviously startled her. But what happened next shocked them both. She leaped out of her chair and grabbed onto him and began sobbing. She was so incoherent that he barely understood what she was saying. “What is it Cherrie,” he asked? “It’s nothing,” she replied. “Don’t lie to me, I have never seen you like this before, what’s the matter honey,” he asked again. As she cried in his arms she thought. “Damn why did he have to be so gentle and sweet?” Doesn’t he realize that this is going to be tough as hell having to say good bye?”           

The thoughts rang true in her mind and heart. He leaned his face down and pulled her face to him and kissed her gently on the lips. The moment she had been waiting for since she’d first discovered her feelings for him. He tasted her breath and he hated coffee, but it made him feel good tasting it on her mouth. He released her and she stood there with her eyes closed and her head hang down. She couldn’t believe what was happening. He lifted her head once more and kissed her again, this time more deeply. He released her and she had a smile on her face. He took her by the hand and led her to the bedding/linen section of the store, where he sat her down and began kissing her fervently. He appreciated her generosity of her sliding her tongue in and out of his mouth. She took hold of his tongue and began to twirl it around in her mouth, and began to suck it,  wanting to savour each and every flavor. His hands were everywhere on her. He squeezed her breasts and her ass. He rubbed his hands up her thighs and kissed her neck. She smelled sweet and her skin tasted wonderful. Her complexion was a beautiful  and deeply tanned with honey. She had worn a dress, which showed more curves, and she wasn’t sure whether she regretted that choice for today. But it was happening now, and she could only hope that it would never end. He pulled her on top of him and begin to stroke her breast, and she moaned and called his name breathlessly. She undid his shirt, which exposed a beautiful hairy chest, which excited her beyond belief. His hair was neatly curled and had  red undertones that were mixed with grey.

He was tanned slightly near his neck, and his stomach was lined with silver silken streaks of hair. She looked him over and could not contain herself anymore. It was what she wanted for months and now she had him all to herself. She wanted to taste him all over and experience with him things that only she had dreamed of. She took off his shirt completely and begin to run her tongue down his stomach and circle around his navel. He grabbed her hair and pulled her up to him and kissed her with wet lips. She licked her lips after tasting the saliva on his mouth. He was beginning to show through his pants and she could feel his groin rubbing up against her inner thigh as she continued to climb up to kiss him. He began kissing her chest and tracing her breast with his tongue. Her nipples were hard and cold and they stood erect from his kisses and blows of light air to them. The temperature was cold everywhere else in the department store, except for where they were breathing heavily and the heat overtook them. They sat the thermostat thirty degrees hotter than before. He was licking her ears and sliding his tongue down to her neck and gently biting her. She was being driven mad now. He went crazy with passion. He lay back on the bed and waited for her to make the next move. He knew what he wanted, but he wanted to make certain that she was ready. “Cherrie, what do you want from me,” he asked? “I want it all,” she whispered, “everything”. She grind her hips in the circular motion as she straddled him. He was hard and pulsating and he knew that he would explode if she didn’t stop teasing him. She continued to grind her hips on him and continue to tease him all over his body with her tongue, until she couldn’t take anymore.

WOW, I AM SPEECHLESS, I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. I LOVE AMERICA. THAT IS ABOUT ALL THAT I CAN SAY RIGHT NOW.

I AM SO SHOCKED. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAS HAPPENED.

THIS IS AMAZING TO ME. I WILL BE SAYING THE SAME THING FOR A LONG TIME.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE PEOPLE THAT SENT ENCOURAGING WORDS TO MY SITE. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND NOT CALLING ME NIGGER AND MONKEY, AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT ARE SAID ABOUT AFRICAN AMERICANS. BUT TREATING ME LIKE THE HUMAN AMERICAN THAT I AM. These are the people that have helped contribute to the election process and have put Obama in the chair. I placed Keith Olbermann because he was so adamant about his statement toward the Mccain campaign for their snarley attitude. He came down on John Mccain with a force that was unknown to most of us. He spoke eloquently and gave it his all. I placed Martin Luther King for the obvious reasons, it was his dream, fulfilled. I am proud of this country. I will now tell my son he can fight for it.

John Mccain gave an honorable speech tonight following his loss. It was intriguing. I really liked it and it was powerful. I admire John Mccain for trying to pull everyone together, though I am not sure of the outcome. It was good to see him try. I really liked his position tonight and it shed him in a new light.

He was defeated and his cockiness was gone. I found it touching when he said that the defeat was on him and not his supporters. I wanted to jump through the television and give him a hug. He needed one. I could tell. His wife will  have one interesting night. I hope that he can move past this and that he will let his light shine that he did bring to the campaign trail. I must admit to my readers, had John Mccain not chosen Palin, he would have done better.

He is a good and decent man and it is apparent, and he took this loss hard. He ran a good fight for the last 20 months and it was good to see him and know him. Had he never ran, I would have never known him.

I want to add something to this story. I watched every second and I have to say, when he walked over to Sarah Palin, it was a look of resentment that I felt. He looked disgusted. No I am not reading too much into this. Seriously, he gave her a hug that would have been better given from your worse enemy than your running mate. This Palin starting sinking when she came out to “I’m a redneck woman”. That silly heifer had lost anything that I would have given her in the future. I was like, damn she is a blatant hag. I looked at Todds face and he looked arrogant and cocky. I just don’t understand how those two thought that they would win. Based on fools? John Mccain was naive, but these two are just plain stupid. Truly they didn’t think that they would win.

Sarah Palin had so many shady things regarding her campaign, because obviously, she was not running with John. I will make sure that I remember her husband being on the AIP for many years and stating that they want to avoid the American government and that they would like to disassociate themselves from all things America. People chose not to believe it, but they would rather believe a lie about Obama. Hey, the truth comes out. I know it was true. I did my research on AIP and it was correct. Well let me tell you something. People are now just realizing that there is a problem with the electoral vote process. Even though we have used this system for many years, this year, it is a problem. Hummmm I wonder why? Could it be because a black man utilized this system to win? Yeah that’s pretty much it. How in the hell can someone not have a problem with something when their guy wins, yet when Obama wins, all of a sudden it is a flawed system that must be dealt with. Shame on you and your ignorance.

Listen, don’t start talking about this crap that things have created a problem now, when it was white men winning, you had no issue, What the hell is wrong with you? Do you know how dumb you look making an issue about this now when it is your losing turn? I say, stop the madness and grow up. You don’t give a damn about the electoral college, you just don’t want a black person to win. Say what you really feel and don’t blame in on a system that has caused others to win with no question. This brings me to another point. That damn Joe the non freaking plumber.

How can you be a black person and live in America and have a positive image? Very hard to attain. Around the world, African Americans have been known as, Niggers, imcompetent, lazy, thugs, gangsters, uncivilized, uneducated, illiterate, welfare recipients, bottom feeders. What do we expect? Of course Iraq would doubt him and any other black being placed into office.

What are we to do about that? Well, we have already made a step in the right direction by electing President Obama. Now it is up to us to help him, and it is up to him to make good on his word. We believe he will bring a good change for our country. He is afterall our president. As black Americans, we need to do what we can to not outdo whites or other races, since there is no need for that, that brings division. But if you do your best to make your people look good and not bring shame on them, then you have done your job. Even if that is being faithful to your one wife and raising your children. That may seem small when it comes to the other assignments that have been given, but do you know what a difference that will bring? No divorce. No emotionally hurt children. You have done a great thing. Some of us will be called to higher forms of living. Accept these challenges and keep your name clean. Keep out of the negative and maintain pride and respect for your people, while displaying your love for country and all who live here. That is how you survive and that is how we as Americans change their mind of us. We have to earn their respect. Not that we have no right, that is not true, we have every right to live on this earth that God has created for us all, but we must never forget that we as blacks have a responsibility to our children and the generations to come, that way another black man can be elected, and then after that, maybe we can elect the first Latino, or Asian and so forth. I eagerly await the day.

Hey in Florida last night, people were all over the streets. They had to shut down Michigan Street that is close to downtown. The cops were called out and people were shouting and running in the street. Predominantly all black. Wow what a sight? You had to be there. I wasn’t, though I wanted to be. When the cops came they said, there is nothing bad going on here and let us let the people rejoice. They gave them the streets and they partied all night. I know for most people, from Jakarta, and Japan, there were many parties thrown in response to President Obama. It is a good thing to see.

We need to come together, and nothing can do that better than what we all witnessed tonight.

Rahm Emanuel, 47, is a leader in Congress committed to addressing the challenges facing families across the nation. Since taking the oath of office in 2003, he has been a strong, effective voice for Chicago in Congress.

At the beginning of his second term, Emanuel received an assignment to serve on the House Ways and Means Committee, which oversees taxes, trade, Social Security, and Medicare issues. Additionally, Emanuel was appointed by then House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to serve as Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Under his leadership, the DCCC expanded the Democratic Party�s reach in every region of the country. Democrats gained 30 seats in the House and ushered in a new Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.

In January of 2007, the new majority elected Emanuel to serve as Democratic Caucus Chair, the 4th highest ranking Member of the House Democratic Leadership.

As Chair, Emanuel led the Democratic Caucus in fulfilling its campaign promise to pass legislation reflecting the values and priorities of the American people. In the first 100 legislative hours, Democrats passed sweeping ethics reform, strengthened our national security, increased minimum wage, expanded stem cell research, lowered the cost of prescription drugs, cut interest rates on student loans, and ended the subsidies for the oil industry.

Emanuel began his career with the consumer rights organization Illinois Public Action. Many of you will read this and say, what is Ericka Courtney doing? My answer is what I do best. People. I do people very well. I read them well and I love their stories. I have written something especially for you. I hope that you enjoy it.

One thing that I liked about Obama, was the way he took charge. I wanted to see him cry, I wanted to see him say more regarding his emotions for his win. Instead, the typical leo, he decided to take the high road. He would only speak about his first love. That is America.

Yes, I know that Obama loves his God, and yes he loves his wife. But he is a servant. I know him well, since I am the same way.

He took the crowd and he led them into a song and dance about how we need to fix our country, and then he began to get to the job the next day. If you can call it that. He is a working man, and if there is a problem, he will fix it. He won’t hesitate to challenge himself beyond belief, and won’t compromise his positions for anyone. If there is a need for compromise, you will be notified and he will never do anything without your knowledge. He considers you his friend. He considers you his heart, and he will carry the burden of your life on his shoulder. President Obama knows that he can’t carry this burden, but he will try. Because he knows that the government is on Gods shoulders. So he must try.

He is a giver, and he will not stop. He is hurt when he is rejected, and will make many attempts to win you over to him. If he finally does concede that he cannot win you, it is a crushing blow, but one that he will get over. In time.

His heart is one that gives unconditionally and does not care about the return. He does not bear the selfish gene, and struggles to do things for himself. Anything that brings him pleasure, he would be challenged to carry through if it interfered with the safety of his country. He is very protective of his family, and his claws will show if you touch them. He is soft and gentle and very touchy and affectionate, yet, he will bite your head off and spit you out if you attack his family and anyone in his pride. If he does not, he realizes that the kill is not worth the effort.

Wow, they have thought of everything. Many of you that read this will understand what I am referring to. It is an interesting life. I call it the Life of the Cyber tooth tiger. Funny huh? They are like prey that feed on you and go from chat room to chat room and no one is innocent in the end. Once you’ve been cybered, you want to cyber and then the cycle repeats itself.

It is not innocent at all. These people are serious. It is like they will spend as much time with you as needed, as you are the different woman or man for the night. Remember, you are the one night stand. In reality, what would a man do to get you in bed on the first night? He would coax you and warm your heart and tell you what you need to hear. If you are a woman online at 2:00 in the morning, then you must be lonely. And that goes for a man also.

Let me tell you the funny thing. After you have been cybering for a while, you will eventually run into the same person all over again.And that must be so embarassing, to actually bump into someone that you have already made love to and although you are under a new name perhaps Guest123437_8 and he is under the new name Gougvilleandu. You begin to speak and low and behold, you two recognize each other when you exchange pics. Immediately the conversation must end and now you forget about that important deadline that you have in the morning. “oh I have to go now”. What a dirty practice?

What I wonder is, do they get attached? Do some women fall for their cyber partners, and do some men grow attached and began to call upon their lady clients? What is the repeat business like? Who can you trust online? The man you just slept with this morning has had three other women by the time he heads to bed. Is this innocent and harmless? Do the women that do this consider it cheating? Do the men that do this consider this cheating? If you are single obviously not, but what about a marriage? If I am unhappy in my relationship, can I do this? Can I say that this is my road to freedom?  If you are unhappy in your relationship, would you do this?

It seems to be a shady practice, with many people involved. Are there any victims? I don’t know, the only thing I know is one night I went on, after about 1 week, and there was a woman asking for a particular man. I did not know what that was about at the time, but the truth finally revealed itself.

My advice to you is, if you are ever on a chat room out of loneliness and boredom, you too can be swept away in to the land of the Cyber. Guard you heart, especially if you are an emotional person. Which of course I am. I generally love people and reach out quite a bit. However this the wrong attitude in the Cyber world. You must be guarded and you must shield yourself from becoming one of them. I have done much questioning, and it is amazing to me how candid people are regarding their reasons for chatting. They could possibly be telling the truth. And you know what? I believe them enough to learn from their issues. I am not saying that Cyber sex is wrong, and I am not condoning it either. If you are a person who is interested in it, you must be prepared and understand that your feelings can get involved. Don’t do anything, you won’t be proud of later. And whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s the ticket, have fun. If you notice someone getting too close to you and you are not interested, say so, don’t lead them on. Chatting can be fun and rewarding if you like it. Just don’t get your heart involved, if that was not your initial intention. People that are chatting want to chat, and people that end up having cyber sex, want to. But remember, there are a lot of emotions involved and your feelings could get hurt if you allow it. I met a lot of people while chatting, and some of them were the coolest people you could meet. I grew fond of maybe one of them, however, you have to be mature, in thinking and remember, it’s only going to go so far, and if it goes further, make sure that you are in control and that you want to be there. Chatting or cyber sex is a mutual agreement between adults, not children. You should treat it that way. Have fun, but cyber responsibly.

WASHINGTON – President-elect Barack Obama chose Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel to be his White House chief of staff, his first selection for the new administration, Democratic officials said Wednesday.

If Emanuel accepts, he would return to the White House where he served as a political and policy adviser to President Clinton.

Several Democrats also said Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry was actively seeking appointment as secretary of State in the new administration.

Two campaign officials said the appointment of a chief of staff was not expected for at least a day.

Instead, they said Obama would issue a written statement announcing that his transition team would be headed by John Podesta, who served as chief of staff under Clinton; Pete Rouse, who has been Obama’s chief of staff in the Senate; and Valerie Jarrett, a friend of the president-elect and campaign adviser.

The officials who described the developments did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss events not yet announced.

On the day after Obama’s election, several prominent Democrats described uncertainty about the extent to which lobbyists would be invited to work in the new administration. As a candidate, Obama frequently said lobbyists would not run his White House.

That left unclear whether they would be permitted to serve, and if so, in what posts and under what conditions.

The president-elect had breakfast with his wife and daughters, then left his house for a workout at a nearby gym. Aides said he intended to visit his campaign headquarters later in the day to thank his staff.

Obama has 10 weeks to build a new administration. But his status as an incumbent member of Congress presents issues unseen since 1960, when John F. Kennedy moved from the Senate to the White House.

The Senate is scheduled to hold a post-election session in two weeks, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi held a news conference Wednesday to reinforce her call for quick action on a bill to stimulate the economy.

That places Obama in uncharted territory — a president-elect, presumably first among equals among congressional Democrats. Yet his and their ability to enact legislation depends almost entirely until Inauguration Day on President Bush’s willingness to sign it.

There is much dispute as to whether or not President Obama is actually worthy of labeling himself, or being labeled as the first black president.

This question is not really a hard one to answer, so I will. Unfortunately Barack Obama is what America sees him as.

It is amazing to me to read how so many people contend with the race of President Obama. It is also  interesting to see how many people actually believe that he is black. Let’s talk a moment about skin color. Shall we?

Now I was under the impression that blacks in America were treated the way they are in America because of their skin color.  I’ve noticed over the years that many cultures of many different races come over to America with much darker shades of skin than blacks, but they are treated differently. Indian for instance, Dominicans, some Native Americans are darker, those middle easterners from the regions of Asia are darker than us or at least the equivalent. But somehow, they seem to come out on top once they enter America. They have no ties to America but they seem to own stores on many corners in the black communities. How did they come over here and establish themselves so quickly? But it is hard for a black man to get a loan. Now we know that most banks require collateral, and if a foreigner does not have any, how are they obtaining their loans. Sheer Trust, just simple, they are trusted and the African is not. I’ve heard so many times, Barack Obama is not black. But really, who cares? At the end of the day, he will be seen by his shell, but why is this so for a black man and not for any other race. I thought that it was about skin color,  However, I am beginning to realize that this is not the case. It has nothing to do with skin color. It has to do with the original intent for the African that came over here, or should I say,were brought over here, during slavery. Many blacks and whites don’t know that it was stated that we were to be slaves for our entire life.  If you don’t know it, there was a Decree that BLACKS WERE TO BE SLAVES ALL OF THEIR NATURAL LIVES. And it wasn’t until civil rights, which was actually started by Franklin Roosevelt. Let’s have a short history lesson if you will.

Franklin Roosevelt,  was actually one of the first to come out with a system to assist the racial divide and force it to become more equal. It was called The New Deal. Now this upset many southern democrats, which in todays time, would be republicans. Whether you know it or not, the democrats used to be in the position of the republicans. Yes, most assured they were. They held this spot until they realized that it was no longer “suitable” for them. Mainly in 1963. Africans  were actually republican, and that stemmed from their knowledge of the anti slavery movement made by the republican party around 1854. How ironic? They later switched to democratic party due to the Liberalism that the party had begun to offer. Matter of fact, the parties did a complete switcheroo. Strange enough, but that’s what happened. However, once the Southern democrats found out about their party was quickly becoming more liberal and helping out the Africans and their issues of wanting justice, and equality, they wanted nothing to do with it and actually changed over to the republican party middle class. Wow, now just think on that, it bothered them so much that they were angry with Ronald Reagan and actually called him a democrat. Actually he was a republican that was quite liberal, and in the south, that is never good, right? That is why it is hard for a democrat to win Florida, The racial divide is still there, surprisingly, Obama won, by a small margin, but he still won. Not bad. Considering no democrat had won since Johnson.

I have said all of this to say, listen, you must know that we as blacks were not brought here to be free, we were brought here to be slaves, and there will always be some that wish that things would go back to those old days. If you will notice, immediately after, the southern white democrats changed over to republican, that is when the lynchings started. See they did not want us dead as long as we were unequal, and were their servants, there was a trade that needed to be done and the indentured servants had left, so therefore, we Africans served a purpose, but the moment, we began to have freedom, and remember now, the south made it plain that they wanted to be branded as Slave states, Florida included. They took pride in their slave ownership.

But when things began to change, they changed and all of a sudden. We were no longer fit to live. We were to be hanged, and raped and beaten and oppressed. That was their intent for us. It is kind of like an abusive husband. “If I can’t have you then no one will”. What will that man do to let you know that you will never be free of him? Everything he can. Well that is just what a lot of white Americans did at that time. They said, I will show you that you will never be free, you will never attend my schools, you will never drink from my fountain. You will never shop in my stores, you will never eat at my restaurant. You will never swim in my pool. You will never play with my children, you will never marry a white man or woman, you will never get my respect. Some still do it today, but they are discreet about it. They will pay you $10.00 an hour and pay the white guy $15.00 an hour for the same job and you’re more qualified. Laugh Out Loud, what a dirty trick. You can think of the other ways to discriminate. There are many. Believe me and they use them all.

I realize that not all white people are this way, and it is evident in this election that this is true, but it will be good to see more of them actually coming over to the right side of the fence. I pray that they will join the rest of the union of America. My God, what will happen if a Muslim, or Jew, or Latino, or Asian, or anyone else runs for presidency? We can only imagine.

America can be built on something beautiful, if only we would try. However, we will always have our poor. Sad but true.

I see President Barack Obama as a man who has overcome all challenges and obstacles and has made a significant difference in his community and will make a difference in our world. If he is black then let him be.

William on Oprah Winfrey, Music for Obama debut!

CHICAGO — Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am debuted his new music video celebrating President-elect Obama’s victory on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” today.

The lyrics of “It’s a New Day” include: “I woke up this morning, feeling brand new/Cuz the dreams that I’ve been dreaming has finally come true.”

While the Grammy-winning artist performed the song at the Chicago studio, a video featuring photos of Obama, his family, Winfrey and the Rev. Jesse Jackson from Chicago’s Election Night rally played on a giant screen behind him. The video also shows black and white photographs of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman.

Winfrey asked the artist, who attended the Chicago rally, to describe how he felt when Obama walked on stage.

“I can’t really explain it in words,” he said. “I thought of all the people that paved the way for that moment.”

Earlier this year, Will.i.am created a buzz for Obama when he made a “Yes We Can” music video with celebrities including John Legend and Scarlet Johansson reciting parts of an Obama speech set to music. The video received millions of online views.

Other guests today were ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos and Sam Perry, called “Mr. Man” by Winfrey and dubbed by some as “Oprah’s human hanky.”

Perry, an Obama campaign worker from California and a Silicon Valley businessman, gained instant fame after camera shots of a teary Winfrey leaning over his shoulder at the Chicago rally circulated widely.

Winfrey described the densely packed crowd and said she was so swept up in the historic moment that she didn’t even know who Perry was at the time.

“I never even saw his full face. I only saw him from the side,” Winfrey said. “So if I had to identify him from a lineup, I couldn’t.”

Winfrey thanked Perry and apologized for not asking his name at the rally.

He was not bothered.

“You were so kind to express concern over my jacket. But this is the jacket,” Perry said pointing to the brown blazer he was wearing. “And you’ll see there is no mascara.”

Perry said he received numerous phone calls and messages about his moment with one of the world’s most famous women.

“It’s very good, actually, that the cameras where there,” he said. “Because it was a lot easier to go home to my wife and say ‘It really was Oprah.’”

President Elect Obama speaks at his first press conference

CHICAGO – Inheriting an economy in peril, President-elect Obama warned on Friday that the nation faces the challenge of a lifetime and pledged he would act urgently to help Americans devastated by lost jobs, disappearing savings and homes seized in foreclosure. But the man who promised change cautioned against hopes of quick solutions.

“It is not going to be easy for us to dig ourselves out of the hole that we are in,” Obama said at his first news conference since winning the presidency on Tuesday.

The No. 1 priority, Obama said, is to get Congress to approve an economic stimulus plan that would extend jobless benefits, send food aid to the poor, dispatch Medicaid funds to states and spend tens of billions of dollars on public works projects. If the plan is not approved this month, in a special session of Congress, Obama said that “it will be the first thing I get done as president of the United States.”

This is of course his first press conference as President elect. He was calm and poised, but seemed evasive, mainly due to his position of having to wait on the whitehouse a while longer. He seemed disappointed when he mentioned that “He wouldn’t be the president until the inauguration”, and that is true, however, many people are still looking to him to see what he will do to help this economy that Bush has left. He mentions a few times that their can be only one president at a time and that, Bush is still in the office. He seemed staticked by these words, but they were necessary. Many people probably expected him to have a case plan or a plan of action, but he cannot, since there is the actual process of becoming the president. I am interested in seeing his interview and the approach that he will take, once he is officially sworn in. It will be a sight for sore eyes.

Caylee Anthony search continues with huge turnout.

A total of about 1,300 volunteers came out to help today in the search for Caylee Anthony and Jennifer Kesse.

There have been some discoveries of what appear to be animal bones at Blanchard Park and a few other locations.

An Equusearch representative said as far as she knew, sheriff’s investigators had not been called in to look at any evidence. The volunteers have come from as far away as Canada and plan to search until dusk tonight.

They will resume searching tomorrow morning and Equusearch says, on Monday, it will reassess its plan.

In addition to the volunteers, dozens of bounty hunters have come in from all over the country at the request of bounty hunter Leonard Padilla.

9 a.m., by Reporter Craig Lucie:

An empty field near Orlando International Airport is now flooded with people. There is a line of cars down Lee Vista still waiting to pull into to help in the search for Caylee.

The volunteers are from all over — Canada, Puerto Rico, etc. Leonard Padilla just rolled up with his team. As always he was in his Padilla element, spitting out soundbites. I asked him what Casey would say about the crowd, and he said she would still be talking about Zanny the nanny and trying to control the world the way she wants it.

This is an amazing sight to see all of these people coming together. There are over 1,000, I would say, at 9 a.m. Buses, boats, ATVs are all waiting to take off. Everyone here has to sign a release, and then they meet up with a team. Something interesting – there are 25 students from Palm Bay community college that are crime scene investigators in training. This is their chance to see what its like to take part in what could be a major crime scene if caylee is found.

George and Cindy Anthony are not here. They are standing by their beliefs that Caylee is still alive.

What is the racial divide really about? Is there a universal language?

 

Now I have been faced with a lot of questions that made me begin to think about racism and sex. Now somewhere in the past we had a world where everyone was in their own race in it’s purity. Now we have a President who Is biracial. What does that mean? His dad a very dark African man, saw a white woman and said, wow, I like that. That has been happening since the beginning of time. Why do people act like it’s something new. It is not. Most people just don’t want to talk about it. So I will.

Many years ago, when the blacks were enslaved, many white men took advantage of their help and has sex with them and that gave way to the mixed race that Barack Obama holds. Mexicans are a mixture of Native American and European. I could go on with this stuff, but frankly it is so boring. The only thing, that is important is that we have a universal language.  What would make someone who was told as a child not to partake of someone of another race, yet when they grow up, they marry that forbidden race? Why would a white man call a black man the N word, yet say that he has no problem sleeping with a black woman? Would you call this man racist?  Why did the slave masters who enslaved the blacks, sneak around and have sex with them? See, everyone says that they hate this or they hate that about another race, but you have to wonder, is there truly a divide? Now we have whites hating Barack Obama, even though he is half of them. What is that about? His skin color. You have southern spanish speakers that call Mexicans beaners, what is up with that? Aren’t they beaners too? Well, they are, and what makes them think they are better? They aren’t. You have spanish speakers, which are actually not Spaniards at all,  that call blacks the N word, yet, in the Dominican Republic, they are considered Dominican, which means African descent. Check out that color on them. The same goes for black Puerto Ricans, Panamanians, Cubans, they all are from African descent. Their forefathers were slaves just as we. Yet many of them forget about Christoper Columbus, who was actually Italian and he discovered Hispanola, which is now known as Haiti and the Dominican Republican. Many of them have European blood in them. Why do we hate each other again? This is the stupidest thing ever. I hate racism. It is so childish and useless. Haiti is  one of the first countries to gain it’s independence . They were owned by the French.  That is why we have Hatians which are black that actually speak French. Christopher Columbus placed his people in charge over the people of Hispanola, and they raped the women and killed the men. Yet Christopher is Italian. Which is European remember? Now, you see where we get another mixture of people? What the heck do you call them? Mixed with some of everything and everybody. Spanish people are the last ones to talk about their superiority over anyone. There culture derived straight from Africa. Everything they do, including their cuisine is from Africa. Nothing new there. Raggaeton is spanish raggae, and Spanish Salsa is Island music which derived from Africans known as Soca. There is no history for the Spanish culture. Or you can say there is no culture for the Latinos. So there is the history for them. The deepest History goes from Europe to Africa. However, Africa has the deepest roots of them all. Now Europeans have a culture, you must say so. A beautiful one.

You can’t live with a people and steal their culture and call it yours because you switch the style of music. That is stealing. You can’t call a Mexican a beaner, since they cook beans, Africans cook beans, we all cook beans, what is that other than ignorance? I understand that everyone wants to feel important, but whites, Asians, Native Americans and blacks are the only ones with a true culture. Everyone else, simply borrowed from traditions of someone else and placed themselves on the map. Sorry, but it is true. Nothing wrong with that, just don’t try to take the credit for it as your own. If you come up with something original, then you may have that though.

Once again, where does all the racial divide come from? What is the language? The language that we all speak. Understanding history makes me not toot my nose up at anyone. The first European settlers went to Santa Domingo. Which is Haiti or DR. Basically you see how the mixture went. Most of us are all mixed with something. Racism is foolishness. I happen to like all people. However some races make me angrier than others.

What is the racial divide? What is it about? Why is the Caucasian upset? If you didn’t want Africans in your land, why did you go and get them? You should have left them where they were, instead of being lazy, and they have the nerve to call us blacks lazy. We aren’t the ones who took the greatest journey to another continent to kidnap people and bring them to your land to do your work for you. Now that is lazy. I hear the statement all the time, Ericka, your people sold you into slavery. Either way, Caucasians could have said no, but they didn’t so it is their fault as well. There was no need to rape and beat and lynch and discriminate. What is up with that? Look if you were looking for some workers, then fine, but rape?  Now we wonder how we have light skinned blacks and some born with red hair and light hazel eyes. Well wonder no more. It is because of the sex factor. Men liked what they saw with their eyes. White men felt like the black men shouldn’t  touch their  women, yet we want to get with black women when they felt  good and ready. Yet you better not say a word or you will die. How unfair and sick too?

I don’t blame them, since we are very beautiful. You don’t rape. However, this has happened with many Caucasians and their need to rape women of different colors.  They raped Africans, Native Americans, Asians, basically everyone. I would have included Europeans, but that’s what whites are and I am certain that they raped their own. Caucasians were dwellers among the Caucus mountains. Caucus means “to argue”. Just for information sake.

Now all of this is said to say, we have always had a language that is and was used by all. Men are the party who invited the mixture of races. Everytime a nation wanted to rise up against another race, they would rape the women and kill the men. These women became pregnant and gave birth to multiracial babies. Why all the hate though? Seems to me like the only language that brings them together, where it doesn’t matter is the Sex. Wow, is that all that we have in common? I would hope not.

I created a gallery of men that I find attractive and would not have a problem dating ever. Don’t question me, it’s my blog. Now, the real question is, would any of these men look at me or any woman of color for that matter? Would they give me the time of day? Would they look at me and call me nigger? Would they look down on me and say, that I am beneath them? Some would, some not. Who knows?  But you know what, I am smart enough to know that even though we have racism in this country, I can still pick out a good looking man from each race and nationality. A racist person can’t do that. They see their kind only. I won’t be controlled by what America has taught to us and controlled on who I can and cannot love. I am married to a black man, and it is great, but if it weren’t and I was single again. I would date out of my race in a heart beat. Why not? In order to please someone who is as ignorant as all get out? I think not. There are people that can’t be persuaded to think intellectually and no matter how you try and how much information you give them. They will remain stupid. Let them be and you continue to be happy. As long as he treats me like the queen that I believe myself to be, as all women are queens, then you have my vote. It’s as simple as that.

Who are these two? President Obama family members. Wow? What a diverse group? This is one of the things that attracted me to voting for him. I really liked the fact that his mother was white. It didn’t matter about his father, I have a black father, but his mother and grandparents really help seal me. When I saw his extended family, I knew then that he would be fair to all. If you gathered the Obama family together, it would be something to see. I like the mixed cultures and religions and thought processes, that is good to have. I wish my family were more diverse. Or do I? I have some strong opinions about things, maybe I would like it huh? Would you like your family to become more diverse. I wonder, If I am prepared for my son to come home with a white woman?

Can my daughters bring home a white man? Or Latino? What about Asian? Mexican? I better start making sure that my heart is pure and clean to accept all races, since I never know. I have some tensions within me, that I need to work on, although it is hard when people keep digging a knife in them. I wish they could just heal already.

My Bank sucks. I will tell you why!

Alright yall, once again, I got screwed by the bank and I am going back to the old school of money orders. I have had it with the fees and senseless transactions. Let me tell you my story. Then maybe you can tell me yours.

Alright, most of you know that I am a stickler for my money, and although I used to be careless, it is getting to the point where the banks are getting more creative at getting your money. Let me tell you the latest scheme that they pulled on me that has cost me $100.00 My hubbys name is Erick A. Courtney right, and my name is Ericka Courtney. Now this is not funny people, mainly because it’s not my fault that I married a man named Erick A. Courtney. Which technically looks like ErickA. Same as Ericka. Now here is where the story gets strange.  I asked my husband to go to the bank and deposit some cash right, so that we could pay our mortgage. Now mind you, normally I would do this stuff, but it was a lazy day for me, and I just didn’t want to do it. Now here is the thing. He deposited the money into the account ( the right account) and came back with the slip and everything. Small problem, they put it in my account. Now they have done this twice. Therefore, when the check was written to the company, it was returned. Why? See, my hubby and I have decided that after we got burned so many times in the past, that we would only use this account to pay for 2 bills. The two most important, mortgage and car payment. We never use this account. Now here is what I discovered. They did this on purpose. See, we had stopped all of the transactions on this account and we only put money in there for a week maximum and then the company would go in and take it out and we would start over the following month. Perhaps they got hip to the custom of our deposits and actually made the transactions intentionally. Now of course they would dispute this, but guess what? There were times when I went there and made a deposit and gave them the account number and guess what they said, which account would you like this to go in? Duh, the number that I gave you. Now it cost us 34.00 which we were able to get back. Now when I contact the company for my mortgage, they say, Ericka you owe us $25.00 for us resending it and a late fee of 75.00. I am pissed off. How the hell did this happen?

Let me tell you what I think. A while ago I wrote a little tidbit about what a bank makes in it’s fees. It is 1 million people getting one overdraft a year would bring 34 million dollars. if you get two, then that is 68 million in fees. Imagine how rich they become from our mishaps. I have been faithful with my money and yet, this happened. My husband and I have a joint account and there have been times that I have swiped my debit card and it was taken out of his balance. We have different numbers on the checking account and different numbers on the debit card. Why did this happen for these transactions, and not happen when the mortgage check came in? Why did they not, go in and take the money out and then send me a fee of $10.00 for the transfer, the money was there? Well, mainly because it was 34.00 to charge a NSF and then when the company has to resend the check, it will cost them 25.00, hum now you get it.  Also, it would have been more if I actually used this account for daily transactions, God knows how much it would have totaled up to. They make more. I am not for the free checking thing anymore. I won’t be using it. They have gotten thousands of dollars from me, a lot of carelessness from me in the past, but this is the last straw. Intentionally placing money in the wrong account and using the excuse, well it’s joint so…. This is irresponsible and now I have to pay for it. I have closed that joint account and will not use it any more. Erick and I won’t be using an account such as this again. Listen folks…

I know that you think that you are smarter than me, hell I thought I was smarter than me, and I will tell you, I don’t think that this was isolated. Many banks target men and their spending habits and they bring a lot of money to the table. Most men do not watch their money at all. They swipe that card and never think about it. The statement comes in and they don’t read it. I know, I have friends that have all had to change their accounts and take their husbands off of their accounts. Wow, that is funny, but hey, you lose out too if you don’t. I would say, if you are responsible enough to follow your money then you are fine, but if you get busy and don’t have the time, watch that joint account. I have already told you which bank to watch earlier, but watch them all. What is the scam that your bank is running on you, or planning to run. Believe me there is something in the works. They have to earn their money somehow. You are the source.

Dive team searches local lake for Caylee Anthony.

This story just in. A dive team will be searching a local lake for Caylee Anthony. It is unknown right now as to their reasons for searching with a dive team, but it will be happening today. We also have people heading out to search for her on ground today as well. The turn out was good this weekend for the search. Thank you! However, this is good to see a dive team also. I appreciate the woman who mentioned on the news as well. She came from my community in Florida and yet she was there, but noone from Orange county was there. Many people came from abroad to search, and it kind of seems strange that the people that live closer are not willing to search for this child that was a neighbor of theirs.

Either way, I won’t continue with this. We need to find her, and hopefully, the dive teams will be able to come up with something that will lay this case to rest. The other night, I watched how Leonard Padilla spoke about his attempts for bonding her out to get information. He called her a wicked little person and said that you would have to dive deep into the archives of her pychiatrist paperwork to get to that mind. It was an interesting statement. Well said I thought.

I hope we find something.

Scratch that — of all the relics of 1950s retailing genius, it’s the one that’s still around. And with Christmas approaching in a time of widespread economic distress, it’s coming back strong.

“For a lot of people, they’re not going to have credit and they don’t have a lot of money right now, but they want to have a good Christmas,” said Mary Bullock, manager of a Kmart store in Orlando, Fla. “It is a lot different than in years past.”

This story is funny, because, a long time ago, many people thought that it was just blacks or poor people, which to a lot of people is the same thing, that used layaway. I like the idea of storing things that I can’t afford to pay for. Most of the times with me, it’s not that I can’t afford, it’s just that I want to keep a little cash in my pockets. It is good for everyone. It allowed my parents to buy more over  a period of time instead of a lump sum of stuff.

Example: Let’s say that you need school clothing for you kids. You want to spend about 400.00 right? Well you can put down a certain amount of money in May and have it out by August or in time for school. Whatever the agreement is. I would do it for my spring cleaning stuff. I would get about $150.00 worth of new towels and stuff like that for redecorating my home and put down like $75.00 and then pay off the rest in the next 8 weeks. It was good for me. The fee was small enough to not bother you. It was better than swiping the credit card and then paying that much interest over time.

You think about it. It’s not a racial thing, its a money thing and we all have money issues. If you shop at K-mart, then you should use this system if you like. Its good for you, especially in these times.

Until recently, Kmart Corp. was pretty much the only major retailer that bothered to keep layaway plans prominent among their customer services. The service — in which a customer pays off the purchase price of a product in installments plus a small fee before taking it home — appeared headed for obsolescence two years ago when Wal-Mart Stores Inc. shut down its program.

But this Christmas season, other national retailers have joined Kmart in advertising their layaway options, among them TJ Maxx Corp., Goody’s Family Clothing Inc., Marshalls Inc. and Burlington Coat Factory Direct Corp., along with numerous regional chains and local stores.

The revival of layaway is too recent to allow for any broad statistical assessment of its popularity, but Burlington Coat Factory said its layaway sales made up 5.3 percent of its business in August, a 15 percent increase over the same month last year, and were continuing to rise. And other retailers offer plenty of anecdotal evidence.

“It’s been really busy back there” in the layaway department, said Jennifer Hammonds, assistant manager of a Kmart in Jacksonville, Fla. “Sales have increased dramatically over the last couple weeks, and we expect more.”

Harvey Reckard, manager of a Kmart in Eau Claire, Wis., said: “I can tell you that our numbers have increased substantially. People are worried about the economy, and they’re just being very careful about what they spend.”

Why the hell are these white men becoming more gangster than blacks? Guess what I saw the other day. I was on the bus, since my damn car broke down and I don’t feel like fixing it. Besides my neighborhood is nice, so it’s not bad. Anyway, I was on the bus and the funniest thing happened.

A man was standing on the sidewalk and he had on Gray and white Timberlands, fancy designer jeans Sean Johns, and a gray Sean John shirt. This cat looked cool. He had on a 1/2 inch Gucci link necklace, a gold cross on it with a Gucci link bracelet and a couple of expensive looking gold rings.

His entire grill was gold, top and bottom. (Grill means mouth, or teeth) for those that don’t understand that. He has his hair cornrolled tight. It had designer braids. This dude was tight, and fine as hell. Only thing, he was white. Damn, what the hell happened? Now this is funny, this man is blacker than my husband. Damn is it becoming so that the white guys are so gangster now, that us blacks have to lock our doors to fend them off? LOl, now that was meant to be funny. White men are no more scary than blacks. But still, why did a lot of them change?

Is the conservative white man becoming extinct? Maybe. Perhaps one day we will look in the history books and see that they were here in America one time and then all of a sudden, they faded away. Just like the dinosaurs. Maybe we should begin to take photos of them and submit them to the museums. For safekeeping of course and to prove that they did exist one time. Especially for the newer generations to come. They would like to see the proof of this man. I don’t know what happened, but I knew that there was a change in this country when I actually submitted a photo of me with no weaves and all natural with a big ass afro. Guys, I don’t do that, I am a prissy lady, who loves her weaves and stuff of that nature. I have been wearing makeup since I was 15.  So that should tell you something. This is good for this country. I want to see more Afros and dreds and cornrolls and plaits and all that good stuff that makes us join together. The only thing that I don’t want to hear is, Bo Derrick, making braids look sexy. Kiss my natural ass. This blonde chick does not make braids look sexy, I make them look sexy, my people make them look sexy. Now she can wear them if she likes, but that is My culture. Don’t be stealing our stuff and trying to pose it as your own. We have adopted cultures from whites, yet we don’t claim it. We just enjoy it as well. How in the hell can you say that this woman is a 10, when black women have been wearing them for many years before this chick even thought about being born. What the hell are we chopped liver? I am not having that. When I wear my cornrolls, you better give me props or else. I’m gonna have to cut cha! Lol, just kidding for real. I like white women that wear braids, I think they look good, just don’t steal from the black woman. And tell us that we are beautiful too. That’s not cool. We want you to join us, not take the credit. This is one of the strangest stories that I have ever covered. I am still shocked. Keep on reading. It gets funny.

Why is this happening to me? What did I do? The other day I was watching a music video of Lil Wayne, not that I listen to that type, but flipping through the channels,  and there were more white people in the audience than black. I have seen this so many times, white women yelling at LL Cool J and Snoop. What the crap? Dammit do you mean to tell me that I am not black enough anymore. My son is telling me that the white boys in his school are more gangster than their black counterparts. Now my son is very conservative, but what the hell, do I now have to move back to the freaking hood and teach himself and myself how to be black again? My husband Erick is no longer black enough. We must change this before the whites take over the black race and create a division that drives us insane. LOL Is there any sanctity anymore? Any sanctity in blacks, or can anyone just come in? What happened to the sanctity of blackness and ghettoness? Can anyone just come in and take over.? I feel violated and imposed upon! LOL  

They must really love us. More white women are dating black men and men that are white are looking at black women. More white men are looking to the black man for inspiration and they like the look of the gangster. More of them are growing up in the hood with us and adapting to our culture.

That is not a bad thing, as long as it’s just about fashion and culture and style. I like the Black American style. It’s not African American style, since that would imply Africa and this look has nothing to do with Africa. This is a Black thing. It’s the Black thang of culture in America, which happens to include rap and the lifestyle that goes with it. You could include violence, but it doesn’t have to be there, since not only rappers are violent, people are violent. A person who is violent and happens to be a rapper, is just that. Rap has nothing to do with it. Now as I write this piece, my son who attends a predominantly 40% spanish, 40%black and 20%white. Damn, anyway, he is seeing a young boy named Rashid Ahmed, he wears big saggy below the waist jeans and a huge Mark Ecko shirt and Fila, his hair is combed up into a spiked style and he has a pimp walk. This boy fits in better than my son with the blacks, cause I have screwd up and destroyed my sons chance of ever being black. We also have a Indian guy who is thugged out also, and he hangs with the blacks as well, now this dude, he has hair that is long with bushy curly tips, which the girls love, and he is dressed more black than my white son. Now listen, I don’t mind, but it is obvious that I have screwed up here. I thought that it would be a good thing to teach my son about life and responsibility, which all races teach their children, however, it has black fired and now my black son is being called whitey.

Where have I failed him? He says everywhere, since the black children, and the white children and the Native American children and the Asian children and the Middle eastern children and the Puerto Rican children all say that he is white. Those big lips that my son has that I thought would clearly identify him as black, has been deceiving me all these years. I have raised a white child. I have done  him no good and now, I must figure out how to become a parent and raise some black people. My daughters obviously suffer from the same condition called albionetics. Basically meaning, no blackness. I have failed as a parent and should be punished. I will punish myself by listening to Lil Wayne and Lil John and Lil Bootsy and any black gangster rappers that are out, I will be listening to them. I will begin to associate with my thug friends and since I don’t have any, I will need to go out and meet some. I am about 45 minutes away from the hood, so it is not a long drive and hopefully there will be someone there willing to be my friend. I am desperate to become black. If you know anyone interested in teaching me about being black again, I am hip, I am desperate enough to take a lesson from a thugged out Native American. Anyone please!!!

I will also give my son an hour of blackness everyday, which means that he will be listening to black radio, black television and watching doing all things black. No whiteness for an hour a day. I will purchase the ebonics dictionary and we will learn as a family. This will be business as usual and everyone, including the wanna be black, black man that I married. WE are all a bunch of wanna be blacks.

I appreciate the look that the white boys or men dressing in a way that shows their love for the culture that blacks created here. This is a good universal language that we all share. I wrote another piece on the universal language of white and black. This just speaks about another one.

Malia and Sasha Obama are invited to Cyrus show.

President-elect Barack Obama’s two young daughters have been invited to appear on Hannah Montana.

“We’re pleased that Malia and Sasha are fans and, as long as their parents say it’s OK, they are invited to the set of Hannah Montana and all Disney Channel shows, for a guest role or a visit, anytime,” the Disney Channel says in a statement.

The Disney Channel statement follows a personal invite from Billy Ray Cyrus, father of the show’s star Miley Cyrus, for Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, to take part in an episode.

“You know the Hannah Montana film comes out in April. Maybe something might happen around then,” he tells Access Hollywood.

Should they take the role?

I don’t know about this one. My son tells me that this is a offer that isn’t extended to many blacks and that it is a generous offer. He is frequent watcher of the show and he describes it as, fun and entertaining,but for an older audience. Like 13-16 perhaps. He said that he would wonder what they would actually do on the show, since it is based around high school student and their struggles. How would these two girls fit? Now my son, who is soon to be 15 says that the Kyle Massey show would seem more suitable for them since the set is based around the whitehouse. How ironic and it would make for a better plot. Disney should consider this story for their invitation to introduce these young ladies to the Disney network. Not that Mylie Cyrus is not in a good show, but the show is appealing to an older audience, and the maturity level for these girls shouldn’t be compromised.

I hope that Michelle and Barack will take careful consideration of this offer, as it could have some pretty harsh consequences. We don’t want these girls subject to scrutiny from the media and it affecting their relationship with America. I would like to keep the image of these girls pure and wholesome and not the stuff that you see on Hannah Montana. Now this is Ericka speaking now, of course. I don’t want to see them stained by the dating scene and the image that goes along with Hannah Montana or Mylie Cyrus. No offense, but they are too young in my opinion. If they make a guest appearance that is fine, but anything else is just over the top. After all, Hollywood has a way of taking little girls and turning them into women very fast. However, I don’t think that Michelle will be having that. Not bad for Disney, but they are too young. Perhaps they could have their own show or Join Kyle Massey. That would be good.

2 Dutch men guilty of injecting 14 with HIV

This story from www.msnbc.com is very cruel and unusual. What is going on in the heads of people? Tell me what you think about this one.

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – A Dutch court convicted two men Wednesday for attempting to infect 14 victims with HIV in a bizarre sex case.

The Groningen District Court found the two guilty of severe assault for injecting semiconscious men with HIV-infected blood at sex parties between January 2006 and May 2007.

Peter M., 49, who was also convicted of rape, was sentenced to nine years in prison and Hans J., 39, received a five-year sentence. Under Dutch privacy laws, the surnames of convicted criminals are not released

Prosecutors said they would appeal for higher sentences.

“By committing these acts, (Peter M.) has shown himself to have a serious lack of respect for the rights of others,” the three-judge panel’s written ruling said. “While he knew from his own experience what far-reaching consequences are tied to an infection with HIV, he repeatedly attempted to bring this same hurt to others.”

Prosecutors had argued that the two men, along with a third who was acquitted of major charges, had drugged the 14 victims and intentionally infected them.

But in Wednesday’s ruling, judges said while the victims all had HIV, it could not be proven that they were infected by the injections because they willingly took part in orgies where gay men had unprotected sex.

The judges also said allegations the victims were given GHB, known as a “date rape” drug, were also unproven.

The suspects were not charged with attempted murder since Dutch courts have held that HIV is a chronic illness rather than an inevitably fatal one.

Cindy Anthony speaks to the media, about her missing granddaughter….

Cindy is not being cooperative and she and her husband George came to speak out against the search and has made it public that they are not supporting this search and that Leonard Padilla is not qualified to search and neither is his team.

Cindy and George state that just before they got the phone call about this discovery, they just received this tip that came in and a possible sighting at Mcdonalds in Coral Springs, Fla. They say they want nothing to do with this search and stated that “Nothing concrete” has come in yet and that it is not going to be easy.

False Alarm, false Alarm, it is now being said that it is false…..

It is being determined that what was found weighted down in the bags has nothing to do with the Anthony case. It is a big disappointment to say the least, and I am hurt. I wish they would find her so that justice can be done and served. I am sorry guys for the nature of this case, but I wanted to bring you what I knew. Please forgive me for getting your hopes up high.

My hopes are up also. She will be found and the search team is still looking for her. We can’t give up, just hang in there.

Leonard Padilla is being told to take a polygraph.

Leonard Padilla is being called a liar and is being subjected to a Polygraph test, in which he has stated that he will undergo. The Sheriffs office is skeptical of the find and is calling Leonards behavior suspicious for his call to the media first, and then to the police. Leonard Padilla states that he will have no problem taking the test. Perhaps they are insinuating that the find was staged or placed there intentionally.

Leonard and his efforts are being challenged and his dive team is also being scrutinized. They are being called inexperienced, and George and Cindy Anthony don’t believe his motives.

 

This case is taking a turn for the worse and it is not easy to sit here and watch this stuff. I am not angry with Padilla as of yet, more of the Police department for not doing what Padilla and his guys are doing. Maybe I am wrong, but I just don’t get it. Why aren’t the officers doing more? What are your thoughts on this. Why have they not searched this area, and why does Leonard Padilla have to bring in a team?

It was clearly visible that the detective assigned to this case is taking Leonard Padilla and his actions personally. He gave many frustrated statements regarding this case today and the what he felt mishandling of the investigation. The lead investigator is angry that Padilla called the media first and then he called 911. They stated that this case is a “Priority” however, I have not seen them searching for her at all. It is true, when have they looked for her in the last 30 days.

Equusearch is the team doing the ground searching and Padilla is attempting to cover the water search team. Neither of these two should be attacked. Should they? Do you think that Padilla has a bad motivation for this case and what about Tim from Equusearch?

Now listen, I normally wouldn’t write this, but I don’t see anything wrong with this guy. Do you know how many people will “cash in” on this story? Many. My book has increased in sales because I went to the Anthony house and protested. Not my intention, people were just excited that someone stood up for Caylee. There are those that said, I did it for publicity, guess what I have to say to that. Kiss my ass. That’s about it.

There are books out there that are about Missing children, and dead loved ones that people are writing about. My main mission for fighting, PAS, there is a woman who charges 29.95 for a book about her son who was a victim of PA, she is cashing in on something horrible. People pay to tell their stories all the time. So if you have a problem with this, you might want to look at everyone who is paid to talk about situations that affect us. Even Nancy Grace, she is paid to talk about the worlds problems, now why is she different. She receives a paycheck, and her show is about missing kids, murdered wives, murdering husbands and wives, rapist of the loose, all misfortunes of other.

ERICKA COURTNEY GETS KICKED OFF OF FOX!! LOL

This young lady that I like to call dimples actually went onto Fox and gave them a run for their money. I knew that they were a bunch of racist, and I made it my mission to attack every belief system that they have. They were whining and crying like little babies, and this one person, if you can call it that took the liberty of copying and pasting so many of my blogs and posting them on their site, since they had no material. Haters. Listen, I know that there will always be the ignorant and racism will never die, but some of the things that these people say is just funny and childish.

Now I admit, I am not innocent here. I started the whole thing, so don’t let that smile fool you. But the only thing I started was the conversation of race and how It is not good. Then their comments sparked another side of me, and it became a mission of mine to show them that their race, is not superior and to remind them of the pain that was caused by a lot of their forefathers. That sparked an unquenchable fire, it was fun. Then finally at the end of it all. Fox dumped me. LOL, this is correct, I said it. I went to Fox today and attempted to sign in, Low and behold, I was a goner.

Maybe it was the story about the Buffalo Soldiers, or perhaps the Negro-Seminole Indians that I placed their story there on Fox, which by the way, they deleted the entire story. They deleted the story of the Seminole Indians, they deleted the entire story of the Trail of tears. They edited the story of the Jewish story that I placed there and took away all or most of the truths. Apparently Fox has a problem with these stories, Now I admit, some photos were graphic, and perhaps, not a good show of history, but my intention was to show that so many have suffered and that our youth needs this information that is not being taught at so many schools.

The Emanuel family of men (excuse the expression) continues to run deeper and deeper. I like the story of them and their accomplishments and the photos aren’t a bother either. It is good to be able to meet the family members of our elected officials.

Leonard Padilla won’t shut up, and I am happy about it!

Leonard Padilla has a bit of a personality that I would consider one of my own. I like this guy. Now let me tell you why. He is egotistical, and yes I am a bit also, or you haven’t noticed yet huh? Now I am not arrogant, but I am convinced about me. Now enough of me…..

Leonard is doing this thing that I am infamous for doing. Going over your head to get some results. Now most people don’t like this, but so….who cares? If you can’t get the job done with the little guy, then you need to get some answers. I must admit, though Padilla should have contacted them first, as this would have alleviated us from getting our hopes up high, other than this, no problem with me. Now in saying that, I am saying that noone seems to be looking for Caylee and what Padilla said this morning, or yesterday, sorry, “Cindy, George, Lee, cannot take a lie detectors test, as we know they won’t pass.” I like that statement, because they have refused to take them, even though we know that they are lying, it would have shown good faith for them to be as compliant as possible, to help find your grandchild. It’s like the Anthonys want everyone to do their work for them, but they don’t want to do the work themselves. What a fool they are making of us, if we let them. Not me.

Who will replace President elect Barack Obama?

What a tough act to follow? Now I have no idea and I know that the person elected will be announced by the end of the year, but President elect Obama will be officially resigning from the post this coming Sunday. Awwww, that is so sad, but sooooo good in the same time.

Chicago has been a home for him for such a long time and I would hope that whoever watches after the Chicagoans will do an even better job than Obama. The people deserve the best as all states do.

MIAMI (CNN) — Some Republican governors tell CNN they were not particularly happy with the way the Republican Governors Association press conference was executed Thursday, saying that they agreed to go as a show of GOP governors’ unity — but they ended up feeling like silent Palin supporters, since it was clearly a press conference called for her.

The GOP governors spoke to CNN on condition of anonymity.

One called it awkward: “I’m sure you could see it on some of our faces.”

Another Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012 told CNN the event was “odd” and “weird,” and said it “unfortunately sent a message that she was the de facto leader of the party.”

There has been palpable tension among some GOP governors gathered in Miami that Palin has been sucking up all the media oxygen.

In an interview with CNN, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour shrugged off that suggestion.

“That’s just somebody running down a rabbit trail. There’s plenty of oxygen here,” he said

I understand this method, even though It won’t change anything. An out pouring of people crying about Facebook and their being a platform for racism in this country. It still won’t end the saga, but it will stop them from talking on Facebook.

I have been blogging for about 2 months, and let me tell you. I never knew the challenges. Frankly every since that first blog that I wrote, seriously, I have been under attack. People are blogging about me, left and right, and I don’t consider myself a celebrity. Not even in the least bit. But I want to say that after all of the attacks, I am still the same person that  used to be. Beautiful, intelligent and happy. That is good, and I am proud of me.

One thing that I know, is that when you are talked about, then you are thought about. I don’t mind people talking about me, it feels good to be on other peoples minds. But I want to say this, I will not get upset anymore about what people say about me, and I have taken the liberty of removing things from my site that seem explanatory in nature, I don’t owe anyone any explanations of my life. I do regret telling my story, but hopefully it reaches out to good people.

I am just a normal human being that likes to share her heart and thoughts with people. No harm intended. But perhaps some things are better left unsaid. I will be making some modifications to my blog and removing things that are either too private for explanatory. So if there is a story that you were hoping to see, it probably won’t be there anymore.

This is what I call, “No More Tears” , it is a place where people come who are overcomers in life and don’t want to rehash their old pains that bothered and nagged at them. This is the kind of person that I am. Let’s cry, and then move on, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Who will President elect Obama choose for the SOS spot?

What do we think about Hilary Clinton being the Secretary of State? This is odd to me, and would there be anything that is a conflict of interest, and their specialty donors. If you look besides that fact, I think that she would be good. I mean if you are going to have a woman for president, then Hillary would be that woman. I was very angry, with her campaign and the way she divided the party initially, but in the end they came together, or should I say, Hilary finally came around. I felt bad for her sometimes, and then sometimes I wanted to strangle her. I like her and always have, just in my mind she was attacking a very capable and educated, as well as qualified brother of mine. I don’t like it when someone calls someone dumb, when in fact that person may be smarter than you. In the end Obama won. But now, should he choose Hilary as the SOS? Secretary of State? People pay attention!

She can do the job better or just as good as any man or anyone else for that matter. This woman is a powerhouse and of course if she were running for presidency, against the coldhearted snake, Palin, I would vote for her with no preconditions. That would be a good race actually. Huh? My only concern, is whatever you give Hilary to do, you better make sure that you keep her busy and challenged or she will take your job. Hilary is a take charge kind of woman and that is just what we need. Not someone that strokes your ego, but challenges you to step out of yourself. I like her. Really I do.

GOD HAS VINDICATED US (MEANING BLACKS). This is a statement given by Pastor, Singer, Shirley Ceasar. It is being discussed in a forum on www.topix.com in the African forum.

Now, I don’t have a problem with Shirley Ceasar at all. I love this woman and she is a great singer. She is a woman of God and she is a beautiful person. I grew up listening to her and my mother had all of her music. I remember her song “Hold my mule” It was good and still is.

I do not like this statement though.

President elect being nominated and then chosen to run this country does absolutely nothing for me. I am so happy and proud, but when I saw the outpouring of racism in this country after the announcement of Obama getting the seat,  I was disappointed. It is being reported that President Obamas position is the first one to bring about the most death threats. Why are we not surprised?

But I must say this, do you know how many white people voted for this man. Here is a picture of it just in case you forget. Now this should tell you something. I am impressed with the turnout. These people really love him and they are not wrong in their assumptions of him. Neither am I. But what I don’t agree with is actually making this man into a God.

Never do that. I don’t believe that there is any action that America can do to make me feel vindicated. Not one thing. Now there are things that can make me feel more appreciated and accepted, but not vindicated. I would still tell my son to fight for our country. This statement should not have been said. It creates a huge divide between us and makes Obama look as if he is the President for the ” Black People”. No, that is not good. Now, let me tell you this. Pastor Shirley is from another era, when there was a lot more blatant racism and to her, this is what a move like this is. She meant no harm in saying this. But many people have taken offense. Barack Obama is not a God, he is a man and will make mistakes. If he fails, then what is God punishing us? No, and that is why this statement is not good for us, any of us.

I want to join in with my fellow Americans and help to make a better country for my children and their children. Not create more division. We’ve already had enough of that right? Let’s start working together and helping each other out, instead of looking for ways to keep us separate.

I love Pastor Ceasar, but I wish that she had not said that. Now there are so many people still talking about this stuff today. I know that I made some mistakes by bringing up racial issues and let me tell you. I am not happy with the outcome.

Somebody stole my Sod!

Alright now imagine that this is the gorgeous stuff that you laid down in your yard one day and the yard looked like this…..

Now wouldn’t this just piss you off? Ok, now this is just one of those things that make me the person that I am. I have been known for doing stuff that just makes people crack up laughing. This is funny to me, for real.

I have actually heard about a crazy story like this one. Now if this has happened to you, please make sure that you take before and after pictures, just to show the cops that you aren’t insane.

Now in the story that I heard, the cops laughed at the caller and joked with them the entire time. Matter of fact, the yard was so clean, that the cops didn’t even believe that the Sod had been there in the first place. Therefore, they wouldn’t take a report. Don’t let this happen to you. You do whatever you can to keep your sod in place. Here are some things you can do…..

1. Have a camera installed

2. Hire a local bouncer from the club down the street

3. Hire a security officer, just make sure he stays awake.

4. Invest in some Sod glue or Super Sod glue, which does not exist at all, but it was a good thought.

Casey Anthonys; Attorney does craziest things in lawsuit? John Morgan says…

Her lawsuit against Zenaida Gonzales. Now some of you may ask why. Right? Yeah me too, until today, when it was stated that the attorney for Zenaida who is a high powered attorney in Florida, Mr. Morgan is not a small timer and he has the huge firm to back him, over 100 to be exact. Here is the problem…

As long as Casey is interviewed by her attorney, she could plead the 5th and you know that she will. On many questions. Now here is the kicker. Will she be able to stand against Zenaidas attorney and his questioning? Since now, he will get the chance to question her regarding her suit against Zenaida. She can be a person called to the stand and you can bet your bottom dollar that she would be. Can you imagine the questions that will come from him that could lead to some breaks in the case? I can. I feel perjury is in order.

Why would her attorney not think of this? Do you think that this slid through the cracks? Or did he just simply not care and wanted to be a shotcaller? Either way, he should not be wanting to get his client on the stand for anything, especially anything relating to the case. And as you know, there is no way to not bring this into the case. Leonard Padilla is back in Cali….

He is headed back and is preparing to undergo a polygraph. Will they make this results public? I hope so. Some people need reassurance and some people just need some juicy gossip.

If this test comes back conclusive, then can we stop attacking him, but I will have a lot of apologzing to do, I guess. Maybe not. I hope that Padilla has not lied to us.

Padilla Offered $200K To Allow Filming Of Search For Caylee

News 13 has learned bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is considering an offer that would pour $200,000 into the search for Caylee Anthony. Meanwhile, a new spokeswoman for the Anthony family says they are putting together a new search group.

Padilla told News 13 he has been contacted by a company that is willing to fund the search effort if Padilla is willing to give them exclusive rights to film the search effort.

The bounty hunter said he has not made a final decision on if he is willing to take the offer.

Padilla has returned to California, and will stay there for the next couple of weeks. He said he will return to Orlando and do a thorough search of the Little Econ River, where he still maintins he is “sure” Caylee’s remains are in that water.

Who is Michelle Bart? The Anthonys new spokeswoman.

Meanwhile, a new spokeswoman for the Anthony family said George and Cindy Anthony are putting together a new group to help search for their granddaughter.

Spokeswoman Michelle Bart told News 13 Monday they have legitimate tips and evidence that Caylee is still alive.

Bart and the Anthonys plan to share the latest information they have in a press conference sometime in the latter part of the week.

Mark NeJame, attorney for the Anthonys’, is also expected to be present, as well as members of the Kid Finders Network and a private investigator who has been working with the case since the very beginning, following up on viable leads, including one Caylee sighting in Gainesville.

Caylee’s grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, have criticized Padilla and other groups for searching for a body instead of searching as if Caylee was alive.

The Kid Finders Network is scheduled to be at their tent in Orange County from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday after a disappointing volunteer turnout over the weekend. See previous story.

The tent was shut down early Sunday because of a lack of volunteers. Officials with the group said they are always in need of both money and volunteers.

I wonder if some of the people that come onto my blog actually give to the Anthony family, since they believe that Caylee is alive? Hell no they don’t and we all know it. Since they have their own private investigator and all, then why do they need anyone else? What is this case coming to? I am fed up. What is up with this new woman Michelle Bart, ooohhh, let me say, she is new and innocent and does not have one clue as to the truth about this case. Or does she, and does she want to get noticed as well as everyone else? I will answer that later. I just want to know, what actually took the Anthonys so long to actually formtheir own search team. It is obvious that they have always felt let down by other teams and their efforts.

All a matter of opinion, Leonard Padilla, Tim from Equusearch, everyone helping…

It is a fact, that no matter what you do in this case, even if you have the best intentions, you will be looked at for the shady character that they think that you are. If it is true, then that serves all the better, but if you are innocent, then who really cares? Not my way of seeing things, since I believe in giving people enough rope to hang themselves. This case is strange.

Now what information do we have to say that anyone who is involved in this case is ill intended? We can only go by their actions. Why is it that anyone who helps or attempts to help is viewed as “attempting to cash in”? Damn, what the hell is going on with this world? You can’t even help someone out, without being attacked. Should Leonard Padilla take the money? Should Tim take any money if it is offered?

Let me tell you what I think. These men are working their butts off right? I think so. Now so far, we really don’t have any proof as to whether or not they are ill intented or not, only speculation. But when you attack someone constantly and say that they are doing things just to be seen, it kind of goes with the man who says… “Damn woman, you have been accusing me of cheating anyway, and you have not trusted me this entire marriage, always checking up on me and checking my wallet when I come home.” Then he cheats and blames it on you. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Of course it does. See most people hate to be accused of doing things that they have not done, and if you are going to blame them, then you can rest assure, they may actually become what you have already said.

Even the person with the best intentions can fall prey to this sort of thing. Are they wrong? Is Leonard Padilla wrong for taking this money to help him? Maybe not, since someone has to get paid. If someone makes a donation to Tim and says that he should look and use their funding, but they want to be notified and have some rights to the stories that result from any find. Tell me, who owns this story? The media, and is it game when the media owns it? Fair game? What do you think?

Shady Kidfinders network…..We need to hear this

Owner arrested for impersonating an officer, Dennis Milstead. Kidfinders has never found any child yet. Orange County deputies have warned everyone about his criminal past. He is violent and pushed a photographer and in 2002 was arrested for assault, along with an assault of a woman that he pulled over, by using a fake blue flashing light that actually impersonated one that police officers use. He actually took the woman to the back of an alley.

Gotcha Billboards, aka crimestoppers, another one of his scams companys. He states that his network does not actually find kids. They only help with Bill boards. So if they don’t find children, why are they taking money and posing themselves as searchers of children? Many people have been donating to them, and hell, I even placed them on my site.

They are proving to be a shady company and they packed up their donation cans and actually left the Kidfinders tent. Upon the discovery, the owner was confronted and begin his explanation with horrible profanity and violence towards the reporter, who alerted him that he was actually commiting assault, and damaging property. By him shoving the camera into the reporter and making an attempt to get away. I am surprised by what I see, and now have to go to my website and take them off of my site. How gross?

This case is getting worse. I am so disgusted with this case and am at a loss for words. Maybe you guys can tell me what you think.

What is the deal with Kidsfinders, let me tell you.

Listen, now this has pissed me off so much. I can barely control my anger. Where the hell was I when everyone else knew about this company. and why did you guys not tell me about this jerk? Haven’t you been to my website and seen his company name there?

Now hear this. Kidsfinders is a group that supposedly looks for children, only thing is now we find out that they don’t search for children at all. Who were the people that worked on the Trenton Duckett case? What a freaking loophole? What good does it do them to give information of the death of a child, so as long as they can make you or me believe that the child is alive, then you will be more apt to give a monetary gift in order to continue the search. That is what is going on with Caylee Anthony. Noone wants to think that this child dead, who stands to gain money if the belief of her life will bring in more cash? Makes sense right? Of course it does. If they tell us that Caylee is dead, then we will not be giving any money and probably all donations will cease. Now my question is how in the hell is this “Company still active? And if the detectives knew this, then why does it not seem that they are doing any more? Who is actually searching for Caylee and all of the other missing children? What is it Missing Persons? The organization for missing and exploited children. Since God knows that we have a case of a company exploiting a child and many other children as well. Do people know that they don’t even look for children, and that they just provide assistance, which you pay for in the hopes of getting you a billboard.

Now we need to figure out, who all is involved in this crap. How many people are actually cashing in on our misfortunes and exploiting our children? Many are, and they call themselves childrens networks, and they don’t actually help any children. No wonder noone found Trenton Duckett or Jennifer Kesse. Noone is actually looking. Just placing pictures all around town does nothing. And most of the volunteers do that, not the actual organization. I would hate to see people that go down there who have legitimate needs and what will happen to them and their search efforts. And where the hell is Lee Anthony? He is the one who recruited this company right? This is becoming too damn shady.  You have to actually search. I’m done here! As long as this child is considered missing and not dead, they will continue to take money and it makes you think about how many other children are in their database that they may know are deceased, and yet they still collect money from unsuspecting people.

Today, I went to their site and it is unclear as to what they actually do, outside of placing billboards and things of that nature. They say that they are an organization that finds missing kids, by placing billboards in locations that they believe the child to be. Well, if we knew that, then who would need them? Listen, in all fairness, I guess this would be better than nothing. It seems like lost hope though, especially if you are under the impression that they look for children. Placing billboards does bring awareness and giving out bracelets can bring awareness, but I don’t see anyone really wearing a t-shirt of a missing child and using it as a fashion statement other than the Anthony family. I still say that they are shady and I would not trust them. Not with my money or child.

What will happen if there is not a bailout for the car industry?

This story comes from CNN and I tell you, I have the same questions in mind. What will happen? I am not happy about what the industry has been doing with our American economy, and it just frustrates me, to see how they don’t give a damn how they charge us for their cheap cars. Now when they need help, they think that they should come before the housing crisis is dealt with. We have so many people homeless and suffering and they will not get one dime of bail out money. Now we are expected to bail them out? If we do, then who else will we bail out? I say we, because we know who will pay for this in the long run. Us, all of us. And we have no choice. Do we the people have a choice in the decision of this bailout?

What happens if there’s no bailout

General Motors has the most at stake. There seems little doubt that GM will file for bankruptcy without a large cash infusion by the end of the year. The company ended the third quarter with about $16 billion on hand, but it needs $11 billion to $14 billion to continue normal operations. It burned through $7 billion in the third quarter.

What happens after a bankruptcy is a topic of debate.

GM executives, while refusing to discuss the chance of a bankruptcy filing, say that buyers would be unwilling to buy from a bankrupt automaker because of fears about resale value and warranties.

The company, along with credit analysts, has also questioned whether it could get financing to reorganize while in bankruptcy.

If GM were unable to pay its bills, it could be forced to liquidate and sell off assets rather than reorganize. And if it can’t pay its creditors, auto parts suppliers would suffer and many would likely fail.

“The domino effect would be immense,” said Deborah Thorn, a bankruptcy attorney who represents auto parts makers. “You can’t afford to produce parts if you’re not being paid.”

And because the automakers have so much overlap in their supplier base, a closure at one parts maker could cause GM rivals to shut plants as well.

The Center for Automotive Research, an Ann Arbor, Mich., think tank pushing for a bailout, estimates a loss of nearly 2.5 million jobs if just half of the Big Three manufacturing capacity were shuttered – a possible scenario if GM files for protection.

About 240,000 of those job losses would be at the automakers, while 800,000 would be at various suppliers and dealerships. The other 1.4 million job losses would be at businesses that rely on automaker spending.

For example, the Big Three have made deep cuts in their advertising budgets. That is already fueling media industry layoffs. Reduced spending by auto company employees who lose their jobs would hurt stores and other businesses in cities where plants are located.

But some bailout critics argue that bankruptcy is the best solution. They believe that despite tight credit markets, GM should be able to find the financing it needs to stay in business, even after a bankruptcy. They say that consumers could be convinced to buy a car from a bankrupt company as long as the warranty is backed by a third party.

And they point out that other companies, such as airlines and steelmakers, have survived bankruptcy.

Still, bankruptcy would be tough. It would mean shedding numerous brands and probably thousands of dealerships, and entail closing plants and laying off tens of thousands of hourly workers.

The advocates of a bailout insist that the risk of failure is too great – that even the best case scenario for bankruptcy would be too great a shock to the struggling U.S. economy. The critics of federal help say a bailout would be throwing good money after bad – something the government can’t afford to do after already promising close to a trillion dollars for other bailouts. Caylee-Search Diver Resigned As Deputy After Lying To Captain

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News has uncovered more dirt on someone involved in the case against Casey Anthony. Todd Bosinski was the lead scuba diver who worked with bounty hunter Leonard Padilla to try to find Caylee’s body.

 

Eyewitness News found out Bosinski was recently asked to resign from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, because he had lied to his captain when he said he was a Special Forces medic in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hilary Clinton says, she is flattered if Obama is considering her for SOS…

WASHINGTON – Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has reservations about accepting an appointment as secretary of state in the Obama administration, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton who is familiar with her thinking said on Tuesday.

The adviser described Mrs. Clinton as flattered by President-elect Barack Obama’s interest but said she was agonizing over the decision. Mrs. Clinton likes being her own boss and is reluctant to give up the independence that comes with that, said the adviser, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the process was at a delicate stage.

“If you are secretary of state you work for the president,” the adviser said in an e-mail response to questions from The New York Times. “If you are a senator, you work for yourself and the people that elected you.”

I knew this to be true, and Hilary Clinton is no fool. She loves her independence, and just like the other day when I wrote a blog about her being in the cabinet, it is just like I thought for her. She is a mover and a shaker and doesn’t care for following. She’d prefer to lead. She is the classic case of egotistical. Which is not bad at all. Let me tell you why. Who in their right mind thinks that they can run an entire country? Only a person with a big head, who thinks that they can do better by being in charge of an entire country. Right? Hilary is no exception, she wants to be in charge and in NewYork, she can be. She lived in her husbands shadows for a long time and in NewYork, this position is her baby, and she does not see herself going to a lesser spot. Which for her, this may seem to be. Maybe not for you or I. But Hilary? Are you kidding? Now I would love to see her tackle healthcare, but to put her in a spot where she couldn’t be herself and do her thing, would be selling this country short.

I want to see Hilary Happy, and taking this spot may not make her happy. Remember she was not running for the VP spot, she was running to run the country of the USA! Enough said.

Too Late to help GM, you tell me. Will the 25 billion save them?

Yes, it’s almost unthinkable that this century-old industrial giant could go the way of the DeLorean. But the maker of Chevys, Buicks and Caddies has been driven to the brink by lousy management, intransigent labor unions, high gas prices and an economic slump that has kept Americans off showroom floors.

GM cars are selling so poorly that revenue plummeted 45% in October. Its stock has slumped to levels not seen since the days when it introduced power steering. Cash flow has dried up to the point where 2009 could be the year that GM dies.

The government is debating a bailout for GM and its Detroit brethren of about $25 billion. But cash alone wouldn’t save GM, Ford Motor (F, news, msgs) or Chrysler, a trio that can only facetiously be called the Big Three anymore.

Politicians would have to find the guts to stand up to the labor unions and the retirees taxing the companies’ resources. They’d have to find the courage to boot out the managers who led the automakers into this mess. Without those changes, a bailout would just be a bandage.

The alternative, using bankruptcy to slough off lenders and reorganize the way airlines have done, might not keep automakers alive either. Unlike an airline ticket, a car is a long-term purchase. Consumers say they wouldn’t buy a car from a company in bankruptcy because they worry that warranties and replacement parts might not be there when they needed them.

If I had to bet, I’d bet on a bailout — either right away in a vote on a loan package that could come in Congress as soon as this week or after Barack Obama takes over as president Jan. 20. But let’s hope real change comes with it.

Leonard Padilla states that Casey Anthony makes self incriminating statements….

Tracy McLaughlin was living with Casey Anthony and her family after Padilla bonded her out of jail. McLaughlin told investigators that Casey criticized people who were searching for Caylee saying, “They haven’t even found the clothes she was wearing.”

 

Padilla said Casey’s statement could indicate that she knows where the clothes are and where she left Caylee.

 

“It definitely brought our attention to the fact that at that point in time she was making a statement,” he said.

No matter how credible you think Padilla is or isn’t, we have truly got to wonder what is going on? I have something that I would like to say, but I am holding on for the right moment. Yes it is about Leonard Padilla and yes it is something that he said immediately after he left the first time, when he pulled back the bond money. Maybe you can remember what he said. I know I do, and it is being conflicted now.

Senate cancels vote for the auto bailout.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate’s top Democrat has called off a planned vote this week on a $25 billion auto industry bailout.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that he wanted to figure out some way to help Detroit’s struggling Big Three but that efforts to do so had stalled.

The White House and congressional Republicans rejected Democrats’ plan to dip into the $700 billion Wall Street rescue fund to finance loans to U.S. automakers.

A bipartisan group from auto industry states is working to cut a deal on a scaled-down aid package. If agreement can be reached, Reid said the Senate could still vote on it as part of a measure to extend jobless benefits

Now this is one of those things that I hope doesn’t come back to bite you on the butt. I want to know how this will affect the consumer, or everyday working Sam. Now for me, I have no intention of buying a new car. Most of you don’t either, since either you’re stuck in one, or you’re cruising around in your used one. Good for you. I am upset though, at the millions of jobs that this will cost. But do you know what pisses me off? Glad you asked. They are pushing the employees on the front line saying “Look, Look. see, what we have here is all the people who will lose their jobs if you don’t give us money!” What a sick thing? I wonder if they were pushing those same people on the front line when it came to promotions, fair pay, benefits, and the normal red tape that comes from working with big corporations? I doubt it, since they are like most companies. Not people oriented at all. They don’t give a damn about those people, they only care about their ability to get money and stay afloat. I bet you, if they don’t get what they want they will lay off many anyway. Even if you give them what they want, which won’t be enough, they will still lay off thousands. It’s always some damn technicality with these companies. Did you know that in Orlando, Florida there are over 3,000 homeless students right now because of the housing crisis? Now you can tell me your numbers for your state and we can compare. Yet, when will something be done by the crisis for our Kids and their parents that don’t have a home. We will see. Another big business wants money?

I say, let’s put some of that money into our families first and lets get them off the streets. I am seeing more and more people living on the streets and more and more people standing in the welfare lines. Mainly white conservatives, not from the political standpoint. I mean from dress quality, where you know that last year, they would not have been there. Our pantries are running out of food and closing down, from lack of donations and funding. This is perilous times. 25 billion to auto industry? I saw one white guy on television the other day and he was on the news doing all he could to keep a composed face. He waited for his opportunity to receive a Thanksgiving meal. He stated that, “Hopefully I can at least give my family a halfway decent Thanksgiving meal and from that point, continue to face homelessness, since we are about to lose our home also.” He stood there in that line with over 300 people waiting to get a voucher to shop for groceries. Over 150 were turned away and told “Try back tommorrow” I can guarantee you that they did. Now this is where I think we need the help. On my watch, this is where the money would go. To see all of those children standing and looking tired, waiting in line for food, is heartbreaking. I’ve been there. I know firsthand.

WHY IS BEST BUY SINKING?

CHICAGO (AP) — Shares of Best Buy Co. Inc. reached a five-year intraday low on Wednesday, a day after the consumer electronic chain’s debt rating was lowered.

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services lowered the corporate credit rating on Best Buy (BBY, Fortune 500) to “BBB-”, one level above junk status, and gave the company a “stable” outlook. The rating is down from S&P’s previous “BBB” rating on the Richfield, Minn.-based chain.

“The rating change reflects our belief that the company will be more challenged than previously expected by the current weak economic environment in the U.S. and that credit metrics will deteriorate more than we had originally projected as a result of a deepening spending pullback by consumers,” credit analyst Diane Shand said in a statement.

On Monday, Fitch Ratings put Best Buy negative outlook because of sharp drops in same-store sales, a key measure of a retailer’s health.

But Fitch left Best Buy’s “issuer default rating” and debt ratings at “BBB+,” an investment-grade rating. It said Best Buy had about $2.7 billion in debt as of Aug. 30.

Last week, Best Buy told investors that comparable-store sales, an important retail industry metric of sales at stores open at least a year, declined 1.3% for September and a worse-than-expected 7.6% for October.

It also cut its full year outlook.

Best Buy shares tumbled $3.02, or 14.4%, to $17.95 in midday trading Wednesday after reaching as low as $17.52 earlier in the session – a level not seen in nearly six years

Consumers to suffer if GM, FORD, AND CHRYSLER go under…

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — A bankruptcy of one of the Big Three automakers could hit American consumers hard, industry experts warn.

General Motors (GM, Fortune 500) said on Nov. 7 that it will run out of the cash it needs to operate late this year, or early next year. On Tuesday, Chrysler LLC CEO Robert Nardelli told the Senate Banking Committee his firm is also at risk of running out of cash. The CEOs of GM, Ford Motor (F, Fortune 500) and Chrysler are seeking financial assistance from the federal government.

Executives at GM have repeatedly maintained that bankruptcy is not an option. Nardelli said his firm also wants to avoid filing. But there is enough opposition to a bailout to make bankruptcy, or even outright failure, of two of the nation’s largest automakers a serious risk in the coming two months.

Here is the kicker guys. See how they stick it to us, as if they weren’t already. Bastards! Pesky supply and demand. ec

As a result, some experts predict higher car and truck prices, vehicle shortages and difficulty finding replacement parts for owners of American, as well as Asian cars, if Detroit’s Big Three don’t get the $25 billion they are asking Congress for.

“Vehicles could cost anywhere from 5% to 15% more, maybe even more than that,” said Michael Robinet, vice president of global vehicle forecasts for auto consultant CSM Worldwide.

Capacity cuts, fewer incentives possible

The main reason prices would head higher is that production for the overall industry would be cut by a GM bankruptcy, especially if buyers shun GM models due to concerns about warranties or resale prices.

GM, despite years of market share losses, is still the nation’s largest automaker by U.S. sales volume, with a 22% market share.

“Anything that would take significant supply out, would shift the market to a seller’s market very quickly,” said David Cole, chairman of the Center for Automotive Research, a Michigan think tank that is a strong advocate of a government bailout.

Others say that the incentives that many automakers have offered buyers, such as cash-back or low financing rates, may be a thing of the past if GM goes bankrupt. That could make it even tougher to entice consumers to buy in this difficult economic environment. (There’s another one, punish the consumer )ec

Sales tracker Edmunds.com estimates the average incentive on each vehicle sold in October was $2,677, up $500, or 23%, from a year ago.

Mike Jackson, CEO of AutoNation (AN, Fortune 500), the nation’s largest auto dealer group, adds that a painful recession could accompany a GM bankruptcy and further eat into the current weak demand for new vehicles.

“The economy is going to be in such a state of shock, with double-digit unemployment, that few people will buying cars,” Jackson said when asked about how bad he thought the economy could get if GM went bankrupt. (Now this is where, they start to care!!! right at the end) ec

Bad news if GM goes bankrupt

There are some experts who believe that General Motors and Chrysler will be able to continue operations even if they are forced into bankruptcy.

Still, even if GM and Chrysler were to survive a bankruptcy filing, they might not be able to pay their supplier base. GM alone owes $28 billion to suppliers as of Sept. 30. A comparable number is not available for closely-held Chrysler. If suppliers don’t get money they are owed, some would likely have to shut down themselves.

“Many of the parts suppliers will have to file for bankruptcy immediately – some that day, some two or three days later when banks sweep their accounts and put a halt to their borrowing,” said Kriss Andrews, head of the North American auto practice for consultant BBK, who has specialized in bankruptcy among suppliers in recent years.

That would be a major headache for car owners, according to Kimberly Rodriguez, co-leader of global automotive services for accounting firm Grant Thornton.

She said she’s worried that many replacement parts will be in short supply if there are widespread bankruptcies across the supplier base. In many cases, there’s a single supplier making specific parts. So closure of one supplier can make it difficult to get a new part.

“The first thing they’ll stop making is [replacement] parts,” she said about the suppliers. “That’s the least profitable business they do. If the production suppliers aren’t functioning, the 150 million used vehicles out there are going to have trouble.”

Expect a flood of imports if GM can’t survive

But bankruptcies at parts makers wouldn’t just cause consumers problems when trying to find replacement parts. Because automakers share suppliers, bankruptcies in the parts sector would quickly cut into production of all brands of vehicles made in North America. That would feed into the shortage of vehicles and cause prices to rise.

Ford has more cash on hand relative to its ongoing losses and is not in the immediate cash crisis that GM and Chrysler face. But a GM or Chrysler bankruptcy could spark a cash crisis at Ford as well, because of the impact on suppliers. There would also be production problems for financially healthy Asian manufacturers.

“A major portion of the supply base will be decimated. It will be a very small number of days, if not hours, before Ford and Chrysler will be affected [by a GM bankruptcy], and the same is true of Asian manufacturers,” said Andrews.

Toyota Motor (TM), Honda Motor (HMC), Nissan and Kia, have 17 North American assembly lines now operating and two more under construction. Together, their North American plants built 3.5 million vehicles in 2007. The Asian automakers will top that total this year – which is more than what Ford and Chrysler will build this in North America this year.

But the Asian automakers’ North American plants don’t have the excess capacity to make up for the loss of GM, especially if they see disruptions in the supplier base, according to experts.

“There’s no way for them to meet demand, even in this reduced demand environment,” said Rodriguez. “You can’t ramp up production that quickly. We’ll be faced with a massive increase in imports.”

As you can see, they have thought of everything to keep themselve afloat. One company is no good without the other one. ALL HOPE OF FINDING CAYLEE ALIVE IS GONE, SAYS SHERIFFS OFFICE.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office exclusively told WESH 2 News that they are no longer following up on any tips that suggest Caylee Anthony is alive.

On Friday, the group Kid Finders plans to hold a press conference to explain why they think Caylee is alive. A sheriff’s spokesman said Caylee is dead and they’re moving on.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Carlos Padilla said they are confident that FBI lab tests on evidence found in Casey Anthony’s car prove Caylee is dead. He said that is backed up by the grand jury’s murder indictment of Casey Anthony.We cannot continue to look when we have no evidence whatsover that she’s alive,” he said.

Grandfather George Anthony said his group, Kid Finders, is still getting reports of live sightings of Caylee. They have no reason to believe Caylee is dead.

Investigators said they are also concerned that if they continue to follow up on live sightings, it could help Casey Anthony’s defense establish reasonable doubt about whether Caylee is deceased.

George Anthony To Become Kid Finders Spokesman

George Anthony said he plans to act as a spokesman for the group helping him search for his missing granddaughter, Caylee Anthony.

Anthony said he wants to help the Kid Finders Network get established and grow their organization in Orlando.

Kid Finders has been the subject of some controversy lately. Some have called in to question just how many missing children Kid Finders has actually found.

At the group’s headquarters Wednesday, Anthony said the organization has been helpful to his family since the day after Caylee was reported missing. Anthony said he is more than willing to become a spokesman for the group. He has no doubts about their motives or sincerity.

“I’ll be a spokesman for them. I’m willing to make their organization grow and help the 14 kids my granddaughter included but other kids,” said George Anthony.

A spokeswoman for Kid Finders has taken issue with recent reports that they have not actually found a missing child. She said they do things to raise awareness like print up fliers and T-shirts and billboards. She said that it is very possible that their efforts have helped find missing children.

Now this is strange. Because NeJame states that he is not being advised on the different matters that George and Cindy are following. He explains that frankly they are a loose cannon, in other words. He is not able to control them and that perhaps they need to get themselves someone that can jump on board with their agenda, and that he is not that guy. He says that he stepped in as their attorney to assist them. However, he is unable to assist them when they won’t follow his counsel.

I feel bad for NeJame and his efforts. I was never angry with him, since he is doing what attorneys do. That is to defend their clients, but George and Cindy are on a roller coaster ride and they have not been utilizing him. He is a very capable and qualified attorney. Gorgeous office by the way. Anywho, he should not have taken this case, but I know why he did it. He did it for Caylee Marie Anthony. Plain and simple. His agenda was better than theirs. I believe him. I have to say though. I believe that Nejame is being extra kind and generous towards them and he isn’t saying what he really wants to say. You can tell, by the undertones and the way he worded in his statement. I also saw the clear frustration of him and how he was aggravated by the Anthonys and their quest for finding Caylee.

ORLANDO, Fla. — In a surprise move Thursday, Cindy and George Anthony’s high-profile attorney resigned as their lawyer.

 

“Unfortunately, I have made the decision that it is best not to continue my representation of George and Cindy Anthony,” NeJame wrote in a statement released Thursday afternoon by his law firm .

 

NeJame represented only Cindy and George Anthony, not Casey, and said he was working to help them as they searched for their missing granddaughter, Caylee.Unfortunately, I have made the decision that it is best not to continue my representation of George and Cindy Anthony.

 

George and Cindy have a belief that their beloved granddaughter, Caylee, is still alive. Tips and leads continue to come in. I believe strongly that they should have every right to maintain their hope and faith that one of these “sightings” will miraculously be the one that brings Caylee home to them. What parent or grandparent would surrender such hope? Who is one person to tell another parent or grandparent when it is time for them to abandon their faith? When does a stranger have the right to judge another who has endured such a loss? The attacks made against them by some are deplorable. Let them be to do what they feel they must to find their beloved granddaughter, Caylee. Knowing this case as well as probably anyone on earth, there is no doubt that they do not know where Caylee is. Allow them to walk their own path.

 

I only agreed to represent George and Cindy Anthony, so long as there were no restrictions placed on me whatsoever as to finding Caylee, regardless of where this might lead. Quite simply, this meant that I could do whatever I needed to find Caylee whether she was alive or not. It impressed me that George and Cindy, both believing that Caylee was still with us, had an overriding and primary concern in finding Caylee, even if the result was not as they would hope. The other condition I required was that I would have absolutely nothing to do with representing Casey or assisting in her legal defense.

 

Abundant efforts have been made towards finding Caylee. I have worked with so many involved in this matter towards the goal of finding this dear, missing child who has captured the hearts of so many. Some ignorant and judgmental members of the public though have made hateful and inaccurate accusations against me and others, when they had no idea whatsoever what was really going on. As my new, good friend, Tim Miller from Equusearch, tells me “everybody associated with this case gets body slammed.” However, like Tim, when you know in your heart that you’re doing the right thing, you just move forward knowing that right will ultimately win out. Some have falsely accused me and some others of being in this for the money. If they only knew how utterly wrong and misguided they are.

 

I had come to a personal opinion and theory for quite some time whether Caylee was still with us or not. However, my opinion was only one like any other…an opinion. The only person without an opinion though is Casey Anthony as only she knows the truth. I believe that the singular person out of the 6 billion people in the world who holds the key to finding Caylee is her mother, Casey Anthony. Although I was quite successful in resolving a multitude of matters, I am unable to go further to help George and Cindy find Caylee in my current role. I can only provide my best advice and must respect any client’s prerogative to do what they deem is best, whether they choose to follow my guidance or not. However, there is little value or use I can provide to any client if they choose to act and comment at will.

 

As someone who has learned and knows the inner workings and details of the case and its various characters intimately, the rampant sensationalism and unfounded accusations must stop. Allow Cindy and George Anthony the respect and decency of dealing with their hope and efforts to find their missing and beloved Caylee as they need to. Allow those with differing opinions on finding and searching for Caylee, whether she is with us or not, to do their jobs without interruption. Finally, the judicial system is in play and justice will be best served by mindless meddlers staying out of something they know little of. There are many wonderful people involved in efforts to find Caylee and there are, unfortunately, many who are exploiting this child. Sadly, most in the public are clueless about who is doing what and what is really going on. The negative actions of some are only counterproductive and hurtful to the cause of those many good people who are doing so much to do something positive with this most sad and tragic situation. There should only be one goal and that is to find Caylee Marie Anthony.

Mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will suspend foreclosure sales and evictions on up to 16,000 properties until after the holiday season, as it prepares to implement its previously announced loan-modification program.

Fannie and Freddie, which are under government control, last week said they would begin to modify the loan terms on potentially hundreds of thousands of mortgages that are at least 90 days past due.

The voluntary plan would enable certain borrowers to receive more affordable loans that would make their mortgage payments at most 38% of their monthly income. Although Fannie and Freddie, known as government sponsored enterprises (GSEs), hold a relatively small percentage of all the troubled mortgages, government officials hope their moves will be adapted by other mortgage holders, lenders and mortgage-servicing companies.

“We encourage other servicers of non-GSE mortgages to participate in the streamlined modification program to bolster our collective efforts to stem the foreclosure crisis,” Fannie Mae President and Chief Executive Herb Allison said in a statement.

Freddie is trying to find buyers for a rapidly growing number of foreclosed homes, totaling 28,089 at the end of the latest quarter, up from 11,916 a year earlier. Gross proceeds from the sale of foreclosed homes on average were 29% less than the unpaid loan balance in the third quarter, compared with 14% a year earlier. That doesn’t take into account related costs, such as repairs and commissions to real-estate agents, and it excludes possible recoveries from mortgage insurance.

No child should be homeless this holiday season, or no holiday season for that matter. This is a good thing. I recall this was first discussed by President elect Barack Obama and he stated that this is something that He would implement into his immediate plans. He wanted to put a stop on the immediate process of foreclosures that put people out quick and embark on something that would give them more time to get their family together and possibly get a new mortgage, or loan typer per se’. I agree with this idea. That’s why I voted for him. I wonder if the people that did not vote for him, see themselves as they are allowed to stay in their homes, willing to give him the credit for this venture? Who knows and who cares, as long as they are not homeless this year for the season. This is supposed to affect 1 out of 5 forclosures. The government will try to rework the loans if agreed upon by both mortgage giants.

Homeowner Kills Would be truck thief, Steve Hilson dies age 32

CLERMONT, Fla. — Lake County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal shooting at a home on County Road 561 in Clermont.According to officials, the homeowner, 70-year-old Russell Conrad, was awakened by the sound of his truck’s horn early Saturday morning. When he went outside to investigate, he found a man inside his truck.

Conrad fired warning shots and ordered the man out of his truck twice. When the suspect finally got out of the truck, he ran towards Conrad. Conrad told officials he was in fear for his life so shot the suspect, killing him.The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Steve Hilson. According to officials, he lives in the same neighborhood where he was shot.

This story pissed me off. I don’t think this man should have been shot or killed. The owner Russell should have stayed in his home and called 911. This is so pathetic that we care more about things than we do human life. Now this 32 year old is dead all for trying to steal a truck. Where is the sense in that? We have law enforcement who are readily available to assist when needed, but now the residents don’t want to utilize them, or let them do anything because we all have guns now and it’s easier to kill someone than to call for help.

Why in the hell did this guy go outside in the wee hours of the morning? It’s premeditated murder if you ask me. He grabbed his gun, he knew he’d probably have to use it, and he killed this man. He shot this guy down like an animal for slaughter. And I’m not buying that the Steve Hilson came at him. Now think of this, even a crackhead knows better than to run up on someone who is carrying a gun. Especially one who has already fired a warning shot. He fired two shots already, so Steve knew he would use it and yet we think he’d run up on the man? Oh please, give me a freaking break. What makes a person so stupid that they think they should run out their house to confront someone who was stealing his truck, basically, I’m killing you for stealing my stuff. Human life means nothing these days I take it, but your belongings are priceless. He killed someones child, possibly someones father or husband. And don’t give me the crap of “Well he shouldn’t have been stealing his things.” First of all, nothing was actually taken, it was supposedly an attempt. That man, Steve Hilson could be sitting in jail right now instead of his family preparing his funeral. This is shameful.

Let me say this, just because things are “Lawful” does not mean they are expedient. Just because you Can do it, doesn’t mean you should do it. Anyone with a conscience does not have a desire to kill someone. This Russell had the urge to murder and that is what he did. No ifs and buts about it.

I think that Russell should go to prison for manslaughter.

Miguel Torres DeLaRosa pleads guilty to strangling child.

PALM BAY, Fla. — A Palm Bay man will spend the next two years in prison for choking his two-year-old son because he soiled his diaper.Miguel Torres de la Rosa pleaded guilty to tying a belt around the boy’s neck and trying to strangle him.He was also forced to give up parental rights to the child and his four-year-old daughter.

This story is good because the ending is great. I like the fact that he was forced to give up his parental rights. There is really no rehab for people of this sort. Once you start trying to kill your children, you’re hopelessly evil. I think that more men and women who choose to murder their children or any child should have their rights forcefully terminated. In America we give people way too many chances to harm a child.

When they first show you that they are unable to be helped, why should we go on sacrificing our kids to them? Leave that child for someone else to raise and treat with love and respect. When you place a child back into a home where there was previous abuse , not just someone called in and reported hearing something or seeing something, I’m talking about evidence, visual or other method.

Then when you place that child back into that home, back into those surroundings, you sign a death certificate for that child and any of their siblings. I think they should stop giving them to grand parents too. Hell who do you think that that child may have gotten their ways from? If their parent raised them and they grow up to be child abusers, that is learned behavior. I wonder if Cindy Anthony got any psychological evaluations. We’d be not so shocked that she had a mental problem of some sort. Look at her daughter. Apple didn’t fall far from the tree on that one.

Shaquille Oneal pays for slain toddlers funeral.

Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal paid for the funeral of a 5-year-old North Carolina girl after being moved by national news coverage of the case of Shaniya Davis, who police say was kidnapped and killed.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player was touched by the stories he saw and got in touch with the family to see what he could do to help, a spokeswoman for O’Neal said Thursday.

More than 2,000 people attended the girl’s funeral Sunday. Her body was found Nov. 16 beside a rural road.

Her mother, Antionette Davis, who had reported the child missing six days earlier, is charged with human trafficking and child abuse involving prostitution. Mario McNeill is charged with murder, rape and kidnapping in the case.

“I was sitting at home watching it on the news and the story brought a tear to my eye,” O’Neal told The Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper.

Corey Breece, of Rogers and Breece Funeral Home, which handled the service, declined to tell the Fayetteville Observer newspaper how much it cost but added that a child’s funeral “averages around $4,500.”

A man who answered the phone at the funeral home Thursday told the AP that only the owner could comment and that he was away.

Shaniya Davis’ father, Bradley Lockhart, and his family had set up a trust fund in memory of Shaniya to help raise money to pay for the funeral. Lockhart was not available to talk Thursday, said a man who answered the phone at his home.

I’m so grateful that Shaquille decided to reach out to this family in order to help this young child who was slain. Her last days on this earth were far worse than most peoples lifetimes. Her mother is scum. I cannot really fix my mouth to call her a mother, Antionette is anything but a mother, and I’m not so sure whose worse, she or Casey Anthony. Some women give birth to bring life to something beautiful, and some women give birth as a means to support themselves.

It is said this woman had a drug problem, no drug makes you sell your child. That means this thing called Antionette was evil from the start. Nothing could make you do this. It has to be in you from the start. Drugs only enhance what you already were. Just like money. If you’re an asshole and poor, then when you become rich, you become a bigger asshole.

There is no solace for this family, and I have not written about this story until today, as I could not swallow the agony of talking about her and what she endured. I would hope that human trafficking would bring about a stiff punishment, and I also hope that the baby she is pregnant with be snatched away immediately after she gives birth.

James Tolbert murdered in Daytona Beach, Florida

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Drugs may have led to a man’s murder in Daytona Beach.Officers say 34-year-old James Tolbert was found shot to death in front of home on Baldwin Lane Friday Afternoon.Eyewitnesses say they saw two men running away from the area just after a shot was fired.Investigators say they don’t have an exact motive but they say drugs were found at the crime scene.

How many murders does this make this year? I should say this month. I’ve always been one for gun ownership and right to have them, do you think that things are getting out of control now? I’m wondering if the laws that allow us to carry guns or purchase them will get stricter over time. We just had the laws changed that would grant a more liberal approach to weaponry, now this is going to be a setback. Makes those that think we should have no right to own them feel that they’ve proven their cases.

 

Tiger Woods Professional Golfer injured badly in car crash,

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Professional golfer Tiger Woods was seriously hurt during a car crash near his Windermere home early Friday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old was driving a 2009 Cadillac SUV when he hit a fire hydrant and then slammed into a tree on Deacon Circle at 2:25 AM.

Woods was by himself at the time.He was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. It’s not clear yet what caused the crash. Investigators say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

What do they mean when they say “Charges are pending?” That is the first thing I thought of. If alcohol was not a factor, then what could have caused the crash? There is no mention of a collision with another vehicle, so what contributing factor are they waiting on to decide if charges will be filed? I am a fan of Tiger Woods, not of golf to be honest, I like him though. I hope that his wife Elin is holding up ok. I worked at his place of residence years ago, and met him a few times. He’s a nice guy, shy though and reserved. Of course that was before he became husband and daddy. Pray that all goes well with him, this is not good news at all.

The patrol reported Woods’ injuries as serious, though Woods spokesman Glenn Greenspan said the golfer was treated at the hospital and released in good condition. The patrol said alcohol was not involved, though the accident remains under investigation. No one else was in the car, patrol spokeswoman Kim Montes said. Woods, who has won 82 times around the world and 14 majors, returned to his $2.4 million home in the exclusive Isleworth subdivision near Orlando earlier this week after attending the Stanford-Cal football game, where he tossed the coin at the start of the game and was inducted into Stanford’s sports Hall of Fame at halftime. He had traveled to China and Australia earlier in the month, winning the Australian Masters on Nov. 15. Woods was to host his tournament, the Chevron World Challenge, on Monday at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He won six times this year after missing eight months recovering from reconstructive surgery on his left knee. Even though he failed to win a major, Woods said he considered this a successful year because he did not know how his knee would respond.

Now in saying that I’m very happy that Tiger Woods is fine, that would be an understatement. My problem now is the difference in the reported news. One thing I cannot stand if having to rely on the news to get the story straight, which makes me look incompetent. You should know I cannot stand that. ThanksGiving Shooting death, Ramone Joseph, Carla & Lisa Merhige & 6 year old McKayla Sitton shot to death.

Four people are dead, including a child, after a Thanksgiving night shooting in Palm Beach County and police are still searching for the alleged gunman.Jupiter police say a fifth person is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.The incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday. The four victims are identified by police as: Ramone Joseph, Carla Merhige, Lisa Merhige, and 6-year-old McKayla Sitton. The fifth victim, who is in the hospital, was identified as Patrick McKnight.The alleged shooter is believed to live in Miami and may be driving a blue 2007 4-door Toyota Camry.

How horrible this story is. The only thing about this story that I wanted to know is, who is the man who killed all these people? What a horrible way to die? This young angel McKayla Sitton was shot to death by the hands of some maniac. I’ve heard this saying, “You live by the sword, you die by the sword.” There is nothing this child could have done to deserve this tragic death. Jupiter Police will be something busy tonight and for a long time. Everyone wants to see justice for this baby. I don’t know what is going on in this world where even if you have a gunman come in shooting, they don’t see the child as innocent. Regardless of what you felt about the parents or whatever adult was around, you don’t kill children. This young baby had little friends, she had teachers who loved her, and this man took her life.

McKayla was the only person in the victim list that no one would understand her death. We could all come up with reasoning for shooting an adult. Not to say that anyone in this group deserved to die, but it is more likely we can look at the women and give them a negative persona, or the men for that matter. The hardest part is to hear about this baby.

Pray for their family and friends. When these things happen, it only makes the next Holiday even more painful for those who are left to pick of the pieces of their missing family members.

Mount Dora Florida, Terry Clayton shot and killed. Age 56

MT. DORA, Fla. — A man was found dead in a home in Mt. Dora on Wednesday morning and investigators say he was shot to death.Investigators say the call actually came in as a noise complaint around 2:45am, but when officers arrived on Hackett Street (see map), someone directed them to the house where they found a man shot to death inside.Crime scene investigators were out Wednesday morning trying to piece together exactly what happened. Police say the victim is 56-year-old Terry Clayton, who lived in the house.“I don’t understand it, man. Why in the hell would you take somebody’s life like that there? And the way they did it, they shot him from the outside, through the window inside the damn house,” said Asberry Johnson, the victim’s nephew.Sources told Eyewitness News the place was known for drugs and prostitution.

Police wouldn’t confirm that, but Eyewitness News found Clayton had racked up a collection of five mug shots in just three years on cocaine-related charges. Clayton’s nephew says it’s no justification for what happened to his uncle.“He was a person that, everybody loved him. He had his ways, true enough, but I don’t see nobody deserving to damn die like that there,” Asberry Johnson said.Mt. Dora police said there were two others at home with Clayton when he was shot, but they won’t identify them. Detectives said they haven’t arrested anyone yet, but they are questioning some people.“Unfortunately, we have to deal with this.

Hopefully, we’ll get to the bottom of it and hopefully the community will step up and help us,” said Lt. Robert Bell, Mt. Dora Police Department.Mt. Dora is usually a quiet, sleepy town more known for its bed and breakfasts than its crime rate. In fact, this was Mt. Dora’s third murder all year.

The first two murders were an elderly couple who were stabbed to death outside a Target store in April. Accused killer Jonathan Levy has been indicted on two counts of first degree murder.

I wonder why they won’t identify the men or women who were there with him at the time he was shot. That’s strange. Unless they are under suspicion as well. Maybe that will come out later. That is pretty strange though to be shot from outside. I’m not sure whether his past drug dealings, and I don’t mean that literally, but if they had anything to do with his murder. It’s not far fetched, but apparently there was nothing that seemed to be mentioned about an altercation prior to the shooting, even though the neighbors did complain about noise.

Most of the times in certain neighborhoods, no one really complains about noise as it comes with the territory. Maybe there was an argument of some sort. The only time you may hear of someone being shot from outside is if it’s an accident. He must’ve have been watched. Obviously either a window was open or someone knew where he sat or something. You can’t just randomly shoot in someones house and kill them without a plan. Doesn’t make sense to me.

I do agree with his nephew though, just because he has priors with drugs, doesn’t mean he deserved this to happen. I don’t know why they do that, but I think it’s just to soften the blow for the public so they don’t get all upset. The news does that all the time. Gosh what would they say about me when I die? It’s almost like if they know there is not a damn thing they can do to solve your murder, then they make you out to be so bad or monster like,  that  eventually most people won’t even care about your death. No matter how unjust it was. Now we have this man who was clearly murdered, but the news feels the need to say, “he has priors for cocaine in the last 3 years. Shame on them! Sometimes pointing out your flaws immediately makes a person hear your story and say, “Oh well, he was a drug dealer anyway.” but then that makes it easy for them to not have to do their job, which is supposed to be, SOLVE THE FREAKING CRIME!

Mr. Clayton isn’t even in the ground yet, and I bet the case will grow cold before his body does. Sorry if that was rude, it’s the truth. I wonder sometimes if there is a huge billboard in the police precinct that says ” Another dead nigger” then they mark us off with tally marks. Just food for thought.

Orlando,Florida ranks 17 on the scale of highest crime in Country.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A new report shows Orlando is the 17th worst city in the country for crime and number one in the state.The Congressional Quarterly Press released its rankings (see full rankings) of the country’s most dangerous cities, based on FBI statistics. Number one on the list was Camden, New Jersey. Orlando was the highest ranking city in Florida at 17. Melbourne was ranked at 84.Lakeland came in at 159 and Palm Bay was ranked 263 out of 400.

Most of us are not surprised to hear this dreadful news. We saw it coming. I hate to be rude, but I think it’s more so all of the bad element moving here. Really I do. Now I have lots of friends that grew up here, I grew up in Orlando and lived there for 31 years. I moved just before it got terrible. Basically just after the Levy broke in Louisiana. I’m glad I got out with my family in tact.

We have a lot of people coming here migrating from other places, some from up North, New York, and they are pushing them out and they come here, because it’s easy living. It’s not too expensive, and you don’t get punished much for being here. The bad thing is this, there was a saying, “come on vacation, leave on probation.’ That is what all residents of Florida tell new comers. Don’t get into trouble here or you’ll be indebted to us forever. I’m not sure if it’s law enforcement, I don’t know if it’s the racial barriers. Not sure, but I think that all of them play a factor. When you live in a state where 85% of whites are employed and 60% of blacks are employed, the rest either sell drugs or welfare or both, and most of that stems from racism on the job (workforce), then what do you expect? Any one with common sense knows this, you starve a man, you force him to steal. You don’t give a man a fair chance, he finds a way out of no way. Sometimes the only thing a person feels they can do is break the law in order to have something.

That is why the crime has increased so much here. I’ve said it before, and I know people get upset with me, but I truly believe, that if we got rid of the illegals in Florida, it would free up more work for us. Also, when companies go over seas and hire foreigners to work for them, it leave a city desolate and abandoned. I went to downtown Orlando one Saturday, and it was not the bustling city I remember it to be. I grew up down town, it is far from “The City Beautiful”. It feels almost dead. Florida lost something, and especially Orlando. I think the city that wants to have a big feel, is stuck in a time warp and the ones that get caught in the system of life here, only bring more children into this already meager existence. I think it can be changed, and I’m optimistic of it, it will take hard work though. More laws to be followed, and more laws to be governed. Now the question is, whose fault is it that the crime rate is so high?

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The clerk who shot a robber was back at work Wednesday morning and police say he was well within his rights to gun the man down Tuesday night.A robber who pulled the gun on a Brevard County gas station owner probably didn’t expect he would be the one who got shot. The owner shot the 40-year-old suspect when he tried to rob the Chevron gas station on South Cocoa Boulevard in Cocoa (see map) around 9:30 Tuesday night.

Cops say the suspect, 40-year-old Stephen Hunt of Titusville, pulled a revolver on the clerk and demanded cash. The clerk, who also owns the store, pulled out a pistol of his own and shot the accused robber in the stomach.“He didn’t say nothing, he walked here, and comes through here then he pulled a gun,” clerk Sowann Suy said.Hunt was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center. The clerk, 40-year-old Sowann Suy, was not injured. Suy said he’d prepared himself for such a moment with a Colt .45.“I got no choice. He threatened me and pulled a gun on me. I got not choice. I gotta fight back,” he said.Suy told Eyewitness News the gunman begged for mercy after being shot.“He told me, ‘Oh, I’ve got children, call 911,’ I said, ‘I will call 911. Don’t move. Stay right here,” Suy described.It was the second time in as many weeks that a clerk has fought back against a burglar. A 70-year-old Melbourne store owner, Willie Byrd, pulled a gun on two armed robbers and shot one of them.Officers say there were no charges filed against either clerk. In both cases, the suspects were left with non-life threatening injuries and the clerks’ actions were considered self defense.For Suy it all came down to one thing, his life. “If I don’t do it, they kill me. That’s it,” he said.Hunt is expected to undergo surgery Wednesday. He faces armed robbery charges.

I like this story for one main reason. It shows me that Chris Riccetelli could have gone easier on the man he killed. This robber begged for his life, but yet, he wasn’t murdered. He was shot and he stopped.

Now we see what a clerk would do when faced with a gun. The clerk actually is saying, the man came in, pulled out his gun, and demanded cash. There is nothing conclusive in the Case at Kangaroo Express that shows the crime of robbery taking place. No one says, The man was robbing the store. There is no mention of Freddy Carson demanding cash. Here we go again.

I applaud what Mr. Suy did, he is a brave man for staring down the barrel of a gun and responding quickly. He gave it what he had. He shot the man who could have possibly killed him. This man deserves to be applauded. It is exactly the way a case like this should go. If this man had been killed, we could all understand. We’d say, the robber had a gun, he pulled it on the clerk, and the clerk shot him in self defense. That is totally understandable and is what most would do in these circumstances.

We also see here that the robber, Stephen Hunt, begged for mercy and mentioned his children. Freddie Carson never had the chance to do that, he was shot immediately. We see Mr. Suy called 911, and now Mr. Hunt the would be robber is now in the hospital facing charges of armed robbery. That suits me and millions of us just fine. What that means is this…Stephen Hunt will face the justice system as all criminals do. He was not gunned down and the drop of a dime, he will face prison time for at least 20 years. He has time to reflect on his crime, he has time to repent, he has time to be remorseful. Freddie Carson has no more time, his time was taken by the only known judge in that case. Chris Riccetelli, he took the law into his own hands and for that, maybe Freddie never had the chance to be remorseful. Everyone needs that last time to say sorry, we have many on death row now who have been sorry for years, but they will still walk that long hallway. I don’t have a right to interfere with the law and assume that it’s my place be judge and jury.

I say Bravo to Mr. Suy, I say enjoy the big house to Stephen Hunt, and you are in for a horrible life of prison away from your children and family. They will watch you from behind steel bars and you will watch them from a long distance and not be able to touch them.

Now that is justice, this case has matched force, this case makes perfect sense.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police say a man with guns barricaded himself and four children inside a downtown Orlando house for three and a half hours Wednesday. It finally ended when police shot him dead.Police say the man walked out of the house holding one of his guns and wouldn’t put it down. Eyewitness News has learned the shot suspect was a local artist.All four children were found safe inside the house. The suspect was the father to two of those children.

It wasn’t the ending that anyone wanted, but a four-hour standoff ended on East Livingston Street (see map) with the shooting death of a 36-year-old father.Orlando police said he had his brother and his two children and two stepchildren holed up inside their home. When he exited the house, police said, he was armed.“He came out of the house with a gun. SWAT team engaged the individual and he was fatally wounded,” Orlando Police Department spokeswoman Barbara Jones said (watch full press conference).Friends wonder if anything else could have been done.“As soon as his picture is up on the screen, he’s going to look like a criminal, but he wasn’t,” a female friend, who didn’t want to be identified, said.

 

Palin Perez Jackson, age 36

Police identified the man shot and killed as 36-year-old Palin Perez Jackson. Friends said he cared for a disabled brother and was struggling to make ends meet.“He had everything on top of him and his family wasn’t helping him,” the unidentified female friend said.It was Jackson’s wife who called police. She ran from their home Wednesday morning and told police he was making threats. They negotiated with him for hours before their fatal confrontation.It’s unclear how many SWAT officers fired. As per standard policy for officer-involved shootings, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating. Friends of Palin Perez Jackson told Eyewitness News he’s an artist and has even owned an art gallery in Cleveland. He called himself a self-trained painter and, in interviews, said that his children inspired his art. Jackson was a member of the Downtown Arts District and had an art show scheduled for Friday in Sanford.

It’s not going to be an easy Thanksgiving for this family as they have to grieve their lost loved one. This is such an untimely event to. The day before the holiday. Makes you wonder what was going on in his mind. Perhaps he wanted to end it all, and was too afraid to take his own life, and he knew this was a way to do it. Artists of this era, well of any era are mostly under appreciated for their skill/talent. I’m saddened that he had to die this way, gunned down like a criminal, and I was happy to see that his family doesn’t want him to be seen this way.

You never know what is in a persons mind, and if you see signs of depression, then you may want to get some help immediately or you could find yourself in the same situation as this wife and kids found themselves. It must have been horrifying for them to go through that. I wonder how the mother got away from her children, it shows that she ran out, I wonder if she didn’t have a choice but to leave them behind. God I hope this is the case.

I wrote a story about a man a few months back that killed his entire family in Heathrow, Florida. It was such a tragic event that took place. So many men are facing stress right now, and the economy is not making things better. Perhaps this man was suffering economically, and that in todays time is the worst type of suffering to endure. I read that he had a lot on his plate with very little or no help from family members. Why did they put such a burden on him? He seems like he was a good man, who was charitable, at least for caring for his disabled brother. That speaks a lot about a person who is willing to do that. It just seems that when it was his time of need, maybe no one could be there for him. His load is light now, and his burden is easy. My condolences to the family of this young man.

I wanted to add one more thought to this story. I was thinking about all well known artists, and immediately after hearing about his tragic death, I thought, perhaps Mr. Jackson, will be able to provide for his family more in his death as all the great artist did. I hope that his art triples in value and that the family can somehow create a memorial for him and help use this time, which will take time for sure, but hopefully they can take his death and not make it be in vain. I also wonder what his art spoke of, I wonder what his voice was saying to us in his art. My artistic choice is writing, and thinking along those lines, Jackson had a voice too.

Misty Croslins dad arrested for Doctor Shopping.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — The father of Misty Croslin, who was the last person to see missing Putnam County girl Haleigh Cummings alive, has been arrested. However, his arrest is not related to the little girl’s disappearance.Deputies arrested Hank Croslin Sr. Tuesday on charges that he was doctor-shopping for oxycodone and hydrocodone pills from three different doctors.Misty is Haleigh’s former stepmother and was babysitting the 5-year-old girl when she disappeared from her Satsuma home last February.

Are we sure that we’ve looked at every possible angle in the Haleigh Cummings disappearance? Now we see that dad has a drug problem. Lord I hope no one sold this child. After finding out about this other little girl whose mother sold her into sex slavery, nothing is off limits with this story anymore.

Lottery winner missing. Abraham Shakespeare.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a man, who won the Florida lottery in 2006, and has now disappeared.The Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday said Abraham Shakespeare, 43, of Lakeland, was reported missing on Nov. 9.

His friends and family told detectives that Shakespeare was last seen in the Lakeland area in early April 2009.Shakespeare is a Florida Lottery winner from November 2006. The jackpot total was $31 million.In April 2007, Shakespeare was sued by a co-worker who alleged that Shakespeare had stolen the tickets from him. Authorities say Shakespeare won the suit in October 2007.

I think that maybe Mr. Shakespeare ran away from home. Really I do. I don’t think that he actually is “missing” but that actually his family knows where he is, but they want to continue to harass him about his money. For the time being though, I do think that police should look for him, just in case there is foul play. Being a winner of the lottery, of course he probably ran into people all the time who tried to extort money from him. He probably wanted to get away from folks and chilling on some Caribbean island somewhere.

DownTown shooting victim Guy Lugenbeel speaks about shootings.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando’s deadly office shootings, and the gunman behind them, were seen around the world, but only Channel 9 was the first to talk to a victim who carries his bullet with him.”If, uh, an angel didn’t take charge of that bullet when it touched my body, it could’ve ended my life,” Guy Lugenbeel told Eyewitness News (watch full interview).That fateful Friday, November 6, Lugenbeel was hit in the shoulder as he tried to run from his office. Somehow, the bullet became lodged in his face and it remains there.

Lugenbeel told WFTV reporter Kathi Belich, after he was shot, he made eye contact with confessed shooter Jason Rodriguez, but Rodriguez didn’t try to shoot him again. He got up and kept running after being shot, full of adrenaline and terror.“Was it chaotic?” Belich asked.“It was very quiet, very quiet. Everyone went to safe harbor,” he said.Lugenbeel said he heard about six shots being fired close to his office. Rodriguez admits that he opened fire, killing one person and injuring five others. Lugenbeel waited until he heard them growing more distant.“I finally got up enough nerve to go to the door. I glanced to each side of the walkway to see if it was clear. I come back, I gathered my nerve and I ran,” he said.That was the moment he was shot.

The bullet bounced off ribs, splintered his spine, just missed his carotid artery, tapped his eyes and then settled into his sinus. He fell, but he got up and ran again.“I was angry. I was petrified, full of adrenaline,” he said.Lugenbeel ran behind a partition and, for the first time, made eye contact with the killer.“I came up over the partition and he looked at me and turned and went off to the back of the office. I heard a couple more shots, I think,” he said.Then Lugenbeel ran to the stairwell and to the parking garage and got help. An ambulance was there in minutes. He called his wife Louise.“Guy is guy. He said, ‘Honey, I’m sorry to tell you this but there was a gunman in the office and I’ve just been shot.’ And I think,’What?!’” Louise said.Together, the Lugenbeels have dealt with the fear, anger and resentment and, after little more than two weeks, they are doing as well as Lugenbeel looks, remarkably well.“Sometimes wonder whether an angel didn’t take charge of that bullet once it touched my body,” he said.Lugenbeel has some numbness, some pain, but it should all go away, unlike his sense of humor.“I’m just gonna be an ounce or so heavier,” he said.The doctors aren’t going to take the bullet out of Lugenbeel’s cheek unless it acts up. But, after all he’s been through, what he really wants people to think about is his murdered coworker, Otis Beckford (see photos), and Beckford’s daughter, and wants them to remember the funds that have been set up for her at all Bank of America locations.

Lugenbeel was one of five engineering employees wounded inside the Reynolds, Smith and Hills firm at the Gateway Center on November 6. All are now recovering outside the hospital.A sixth employee, 26-year-old Otis Beckford, was the first person shot and the only one killed. He was engaged to be married and had an 8-month-old daughter.Shooter and former employee Jason Rodriguez told Channel 9 (watch video) cameras the company had “left him to rot.” He remains in jail.

Such a horrible story and to have to speak of the accounts of what happened that day must have been very difficult. My first blog on this story was a bit harsh, mainly because I was feeding off of the emotions of Jason Rodriguez, and I think that is fine. We can all agree that most of us have been dealt a bad hand by an employer, one way or another. However, I have to be more sensitive on this one and say it is sad what happened this day. I would hate to be shot over something that I didn’t do. No one at this company could have been prepared for this type of crime.

I think I’d sue the company though if I was Guy, I think he has a good case, after all, this was all their fault. Sorry, but I think it was. Had they not wrongfully terminated Jason Rodriguez, this would not have happened. You should know I still believe this man about what he says regarding their actions towards him. How many people really just make up things about their company? Not many that is for sure. I feel bad for Guy and his wife for what they’ve endured, actually I feel sad for all of the innocent ones. Tyrone Dukes 41, drags woman into bushes and rapes her. Arrested on rape charges in Orlando, Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman walking home early Tuesday morning told Orlando police she was approached by a man armed with a gun, dragged into nearby bushes and raped. Police said the victim flagged down an officer shortly after the crime and provided a description of the suspect that led to his arrest.

The victim told police she was walking home along Albany Avenue (see map) around 3:00am when a man, wearing a black shirt with the letters “R.I.P.” across the chest, told her he wanted sex. The woman refused and said the man then pulled out what appeared to be a gun, dragged her from the street into bushes and raped her near Randall Street.Police began a search of the scene and were working to locate potential witnesses when the victim’s son contacted Orlando Police Department dispatch to say he saw the suspect riding a bike near S. Westmoreland Drive and Carter Street (see map). The officer quickly located the suspect, who was immediately identified by the victim.Tyrone Dukes, 41, was taken into custody (see images) and charged with armed kidnapping with intent to commit a felony, sexual battery with a firearm and simple battery.

Now this story is a bit personal. I lived on Randall for about 4 years. This neighborhood is horrible, and why any woman would be walking that time of morning is strange. The only people who walk this neighborhood early in the morning are street hookers, drug dealers, or in the slightest bit, men or women who are getting off from work and just getting off the bus. There is a bus terminal about a minute from where this woman was located. As I was reading this story, I had flashbacks. My book actually depicts the exact community of this rape. Enough of that, back to the story.

I wonder what she was doing over there, not that I’m saying that she shouldn’t have the right to walk as she pleases, but this is not the neighborhood for this. And I was reading a comment on a news sources site that read, “Maybe her John didn’t pay for the services and she cried rape.” Hmmm, I wonder if she were white or lived in a better community would we automatically assume that she was a prostitute? My own mind went there on this one, but I know the area, and the types of people that live there. It is a slum neighborhood. Let’s say this woman was a prostitute, does that mean she should be raped? Of course not, her way of providing for herself and her family is her own business, and rape is rape. About 14 years ago when I lived there, I was coming home from work and witnessed a mugging. I actually hid under my house, yes under the house because some of those houses you can do that, I was terrified. This guy was jacked at gun point, it was scary.

I feel bad for this woman though, her case will be challenged, but maybe because it’s 2 black people, it will be easy to convict him, and it will be even easier to take her word and let her go, because she is black. Meaning if she were accusing a white man of the same crimes, they would look at her differently, and most assured, she would be a Hooker and they would tear her to pieces on the stand, right? MIAMI — A South Florida pastor and his wife have been convicted in Miami federal court on charges that they took part in A $7 million money laundering and mortgage fraud scheme.Garry and Yvonne Souffrant, of Davie, were convicted Monday. They had been charged with conspiring to defraud banks and launder drug traffickers’ profits to buy properties in South Florida and Georgia.Authorities say Garry Souffrant, a pastor at God First Ministries in Miami Gardens, and his wife used their family real estate business to help drug traffickers buy homes and luxury automobiles.The couple faces 5 to 30 years in prison for the crime.

How many ways can I say this? Do Not put your trust in men, but put your trust in God. Men will always fail you. Now that was the nicest thing I’ll say about these con artists. Which is exactly what they are. I cannot believe they named their church that, God First Ministries. What a freaking joke. Pimps in the pulpit as Michael Baisden would call them.

It is so pathetic when I see millions of believers following some idiot. Why do we follow fools? Why do we think that we are so far from God that the only thing we know is to protect the stupid? Been there, done that. I don’t see myself following some money hungry, self righteous preacher who only wants to take my money. I bet these idiots were proclaiming their riches as favor from God, and I bet they made everyone around them feel so small. Don’t be jealous of these types, we see their end. I love the vengeance of God. He is fair and just.

These 2 nuttcases were laundering money? What the hell is that about? How do you preach in the pulpit on Sunday, and then on money, go and wash some dirty cash and help establish drug dealers? Something doesn’t seem right about that! I wonder how long they were getting away with this. I wonder how much money they took from their congregation. I wonder how many people they helped in their ministry. Probably none. It’s people like them who make it hard for honest and hardworking folks to get homes. People wonder why non believers act the way they do towards Christians, it’s because they’re tired of the false prophets out there, and frustrated with being taken advantage of.

Give them the full 30 years for their deceit. Give them the max allowed. When they get out, they will repeat the same thing.

Winel Castro Molina takes a trip back to court today to face the judge. A decision will be made regarding his release from jail on $25,000 bond for raping a woman he pretended to be a good Samaritan with. Winel Castro Molina was released with no preconditions and no tracking device. Basically, he is a free man. He is able to walk the streets with no one to be accountable to. That doesn’t seem like a smart thing, and what bone head judge allowed this? How do you set a proven rapist free on bail with no GPS Device? You don’t.

Anyway, hopefully they revoke his bond or at least give this freak a device to protect the safety of the public. Hell isn’t that what they are supposed to do?

Teenage Robbers of 7-11, age 17 and 15 are busted

ORLANDO, Fla. — A standoff between Orlando police and a robbery suspect ended early Tuesday morning. The incident along Big Horn Street in Tangelo Park ended safely when police arrested the 15-year-old suspect and a 17-year-old was also taken into custody. Authorities said the two teenagers robbed a 7-Eleven on North Mills Avenue around 1 a.m. and drove to Tangelo Park. They ditched their vehicle and the 17-year-old passenger was captured, but investigators said the 15-year-old driver ran through some back yards to a 70-year-old woman’s home and got inside. A police officer spotted the 15-year-old in a window and got him to surrender. “The juvenile put his hands up, and a patrol officer was able to hold onto the hands until SWAT could go inside and get the juvenile into custody,” Orlando Police Department Sgt. Barbara Jones said. The 15-year-old was taken into custody around 3:30 a.m. The woman inside the home was not hurt. The names of the teenagers were withheld because they are juveniles.

Are the criminals getting younger and younger or what? I don’t see why they withhold their names from public records when they are criminals. I mean what is the harm in releasing their names? First of all, if you’re a criminal at age 15, then possibly you’ll be a criminal at age 18, right? These young boys robbed a convenient store and I suppose they won’t release their photos. So now we gotta wonder if these two Bonnie and Clydes will strike again. I wonder who their parents are, and can they be held accountable? Especially for the 15 year old. Someone should have been calling around saying that their child is not in bed sleeping.

Is this generation raising itself? It sure feels like it. Then after that, they apparently break into an old womans home. Wow, now that is the scary part as well, not only do you rob a store, but right after you do this, you break into someones home. I’m happy that the woman was not hurt. I can imagine her surprise to wake up and find her house televised for a standoff. I’m wondering if she was a relative or if they just randomly chose her home.

Is it safe to assume that someone will wake up and report their car being stolen as well? I don’t see how a 15 or 17 year old would have a drivers license or be able to purchase their own vehicle. Let me guess, the car is stolen as well.

Eyewitness News obtained an audio recording of Andrea Lyon bashing judges, female prosecutors, victim’s advocates and even calling jurors “killers.” Lyon made the comments at a conference in Orlando (Listen: part 1 | part 2) before she joined Casey’s defense team.Casey’s lawyer Jose Baez wasn’t qualified to handle a death penalty case himself, so he hired Andrea Lyon, a Chicago death penalty expert who calls herself a “pioneer in the field.” Andrea Lyon also calls herself a “genius, legendary” and says her intelligence is superior to jurors’ intelligence.

In the audiotape that Eyewitness News obtained of Andrea Lyon lecturing local lawyers in 2008, she bragged about being thrown out of courtrooms. Lyon said judges are only worried about voters and called them “ugly.”“Sometimes ugly is presiding. Or do you have great judges in Florida?” Lyon questioned in the recording.Also on the tape, Lyon called jurors, “killers.”“You can give the killers on your jury, and there are some, the ammunition they need to go after people,” Lyons said.She called victims’ advocates awful, and worse, for interfering with her efforts to make inroads with a murder victim’s relative.“They figured out I was talking to her and that my client’s mother was talking to her and they didn’t like that so they sent one of these victim witness’ little b**ches up there,” she said.Lyon also made a very crude comment about female prosecutors and their femininity, after calling them uncivilized.“You know they all wear those little ties and have strap*** at home, whatever,” Lyon said. “I actually will take them aside and say, ‘I’m one of the pioneers and you’re embarrassing me by your behavior.’”She described one of her former jurors as a mean librarian and an elderly juror as a “blue hair.”WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer (watch interview) calls her comments outrageous.“It’s certainly not something that a true professional whether you’re defense or prosecutor really tries to do,” Sheaffer said.Lyon’s lecture last year could shed light on how she will approach Casey Anthony’s death penalty case. Kronk’s bitter ex-wives have accused him of almost everything but the Kennedy assassination and the 9-11 attacks, but they were not questioned under oath and the defense did not provide one iota of evidence to support any of the allegations, no police reports, nothing.One-by-one, former meter reader Roy Kronk’s ex-wives and their bitter children made wild accusations.“Sometimes he’d walk in when I was putting my clothes on,” said April Applegate Hensley, the daughter of one of Kronk’s ex-girlfriends. “I told him I was tired of it and jokingly he said, ‘Turn to animals and I’ll videotape it.’”But she also said Kronk supported her terminally-ill mother and that he brought the only discipline into her troubled life, which she resented.“I pulled back. He hit the door, broke his wrist,” ex-wife Crystal Sparks said during the questioning. “He threw me up against the back of the door … He was not a good dad.”Sparks told the defense Kronk exposed their 6-year-old to porn.

She couldn’t remember whether she filed for a protective order and couldn’t explain her email praising Kronk for finding Caylee Anthony’s remains saying he did a good thing.“Given the opportunity, he probably would’ve killed me,” ex-wife Jill Kerley said.But ex-husband Roy Kronk didn’t kill her, though she says he duct taped her hands, kidnapped and beat her.“He probably was the one who murdered Caylee Anthony or had something to do with it,” Kerley said.“I deem these tactics as despicable,” WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said. Sheaffer says it’s telling that the defense private investigator did not interview Kronk’s bitter exes under oath, which makes them worthless.“Very clumsy investigating technique or it was deliberate not to go under oath, because they might not have gotten the same responses,” Sheaffer said.The biggest problem with all the accusations is that they have nothing to do with Caylee Anthony’s murder. He says it’s a hard sell that Kronk murdered Caylee, pretended to find her remains, collected a reward and set himself up for a possible death sentence.“How absurd does that sound when I say it? Absurd,” Sheaffer said.

It’s not uncommon for bitter exes to do this.“You bet they see an opportunity for their 15 minutes of fame and to, in fact, pay back,” WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said.Sheaffer points out that, if the defense team repeats unsubstantiated allegations like this outside of court, they could be sued. They didn’t during their morning network blitz Friday, which tells him they have no evidence to back them up.“Well, what happens to a cornered animal? They just lash out, lash out, lash out,” Sheaffer said.

Kronk’s attorney said the defense never asked Kronk specific questions about these allegations Thursday when they had him under oath and could’ve pinned him down while they had the advantage of surprise. Sheaffer says it’s another indication that this is another media stunt without any evidentiary or legal substance.Roy Kronk said he first found the plastic bag containing Caylee’s body in the woods near the Anthony home in August, but a deputy didn’t take him seriously and really didn’t investigate. So he called deputies back into the woods again on December 11 and that’s when they took a close look and found Caylee’s body.Kronk’s estranged son told the defense (watch it) he thought Caylee’s remains were found last November, not December, which the defense twisted into Kronk having prior knowledge. The problem with that is that another meter reader told Eyewitness News he was the one who told Kronk about Caylee’s neighborhood; Kronk was not familiar with the area.Kronk worked for Orange County until last month, when he was fired during a dispute over a shoulder injury.
CASEY DEFENSE WANTS KRONK CONSIDERED ‘SUSPECT’Lawyers for Casey Anthony filed a motion (read motion) late Thursday that named the man who found Caylee Anthony’s remains as a possible suspect in her death. Shortly after former meter reader Roy Kronk answered questions in a deposition on Thursday, Casey’s defense filed the motion pointing the finger at Kronk.Two of Casey Anthony’s lawyers appeared on national TV Friday morning to point the finger at the new ’suspect.’ They said there is as much circumstantial evidence implicating Kronk as there is against their client.

“I haven’t done anything wrong and I’ve maintained that the whole time,” Kronk said after Thursday’s deposition.Casey’s defense team claims they have a lot of reason to believe Kronk was involved. Their thoughts are based on interviews they did with Roy Kronk’s ex-wives and girlfriends.“I need you like now. I just found a human skull,” Kronk said in the 911 call that led to finding Caylee’s remains.Nearly everyone, including the State Attorney’s Office praised Roy Kronk when he found Caylee Anthony’s remains, including her skull, in a wooded area on December 11, but the former Orange County meter reader is being picked apart by Casey Anthony’s legal team, headed by attorney Jose Baez.“They’re doing what they’re expected to do. That is them trying to defend their client,” Kronk’s attorney David Evans said.Investigators cleared Kronk and said they don’t believe he has anything to do with Caylee’s horrific death. But in a motion filed Thursday, Casey’s attorneys claim Kronk is “equally as likely to be responsible for the death of the child.”

“It is the nature of criminal defense to attempt to find someone to blame for a crime other than the person charged. Mr. Kronk has understood from the beginning that the defense might attempt to cast suspicions in his direction–because that’s what defense attorneys do. In their zeal to defend Casey Anthony, defense counsel has filed papers with the Court that are filled with allegations that have no basis in fact and falsely accuse Mr. Kronk of various types of bad behavior,” Kronk’s attorney, David Evans, said in a press released Thursday evening. “As for Mr. Kronk, he vehemently denies the allegations against him and is confident that he will be vindicated. In the meantime, as he stated early on in this case, no good deed goes unpunished.”Prosecutors have not talked publicly about the motions, but they have never called Kronk a suspect in the case and have maintained that Casey is responsible for her daughter’s death.
KRONK DEPOSED BY CASEY DEFENSEMeanwhile, Kronk was questioned under oath Thursday. The defense started questioning Roy Kronk Thursday morning and it lasted all day.Kronk is a key prosecution witness. He puts Caylee’s remains in the woods in August of last year, which is consistent with other evidence. Kronk says he saw the same suspicious trash bag in the same area both in August and December.The defense wants to shoot down his story. It’s already made unsubstantiated claims that someone else put the remains there after October 14, which is after Casey was locked up on no bond.

Kronk smoked a cigarette as he left for a lunch break after a tough morning answering defense questions under oath.“Has it been tough on you?” WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked.“I just don’t prefer speaking to the media to be honest, but yeah, it’s been very tough on me,” Kronk replied.Kronk came onto the scene as a hero who followed a hunch to the first patch of woods around the corner from Caylee Anthony’s grandparent’s house on Suburban Drive. Kronk told investigators almost one year ago, when he found Caylee’s remains in the woods, that he believes he was in the exact same spot in August, which is when he called investigators the first time. However, in August, the responding deputy never went to the exact spot where Caylee’s body was and, partly because of that, Deputy Richard Cain was fired.

There have been all kinds of stories circulating, including that Kronk got inside information through a relationship with someone who works at the jail or that he was somehow involved in putting the body there. Prosecutors believe he’s telling the truth no matter what his character flaws are.“Have they started to get into anything personal that’s really unrelated to this case?” Belich asked as Kronk and his attorney left on a lunch break.“They’re just asking their questions. We don’t want to comment in the middle of the deposition,” Kronk’s attorney David Evans replied.The prosecution says other evidence, the condition of the remains and what was found with them and plant growth in the area also show Caylee was there at least since August.The county hired Kronk’s lawyer to help him through the frenzy, until he was let go over a workers’ compensation dispute (read report). But Kronk is grateful his lawyer is now working for free.“I didn’t feel comfortable leaving him without representation, so I’m going to stand by Roy and see it through,” Evans said.Kronk won’t reimburse the county for his $12,000 legal bill. The county says his tenacity saved taxpayers from paying for more searches and what could have been a much tougher prosecution.

Eyewitness News asked how the defense will fight the evidence of coffin flies that were found in Casey’s trunk.“Do you believe coffin flies were in the trunk or are you telling us there weren’t coffin flie?” Belich asked.“I’m not going to comment,” Jose Baez responded.“I think we’re going to see them so how are you going to fight that?” asked Belich.“I’m not going to comment on what we plan on doing. If that were the case, I might as well cash it in right now,” he said.Eyewitness News learned that the defense isn’t finished. Baez plans to question Kronk again and said he’s also considering a guilty plea in Casey’s check fraud case which will be heard in January.
NEXT IN THE CASE AGAINST CASEY The case against Casey will be back to court next month. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled in her check fraud case for December 11.Casey is facing charges for stealing checks from her best friend. The fraud trial is set for January 25.There’s also a pre-trial hearing in her murder trial on January 21.

We have this cocky chick Andrea Lyon who is self proclaimed as a “genius” who gets murderers off. Wow what a thing to be praised for. What kind of psycho is she? Now I must add, I like attorneys, but some of them are just the lowest of the low, and this gutter chick may be just what the Killer Mom Casey Anthony needs. I suppose Roy Kronk put Caylees body in the trunk. Kronk should have never gotten involved with the media. Goodness, this man is going to be insane after all of this ends. This Attorney Andrea Lyon is totally confusing the hell out of me, I don’t know whether to slap her or applaud her. Since it’s a case about a murdered child, I think I want to slap her sillier than she already is. She had the audacity to insult the justice system and all of it constituents, as if she believes she carries the holy grail. My goodness, what will she do next? I think that maybe, she should have us bow before her as she enters the room. By her own admission, a jury of Casey Anthonys peers would be too incompetent to rule a fair verdict. The New Wild Wild West! Off Duty Lake County officer shoots at burglars.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake county corrections officer opened fire on three men who tried to break into his Orange county home.Orange county deputies had the neighborhood blocked off for a few hours Sunday night and early Monday morning. The incident happened in the Country Chase subdivision near Apopka Vineland Road and Silver Star Road,Investigators say the three men tried to break into a home in the Pine Hills community where a Lake County corrections officer lives around 11PM Sunday night.”The homeowner heard some noises out in the back porch area, screened enclosure, surprised three burglars,” said Lt. Vincent Van Ness, Orange County Sheriff’s Office The corrections officer grabbed his gun, and fired several shots at the three burglars. Investigators say they don’t believe the corrections officer hit any of the burglars when he fired at them, but he was able to scare them off before they could grab anything.”I don’t know how many (shots). It doesn’t appear that he hit anybody,” Van Ness said.The Orange County Sheriff’s Office told us the corrections officer used his personal gun to shoot at the three men who attempted to burglarize his home.

I do not get this. Florida is becoming the Wild Wild West. I have written about more gun crimes in Orlando in the last week than I have in over a year. I don’t know if it’s the new gun laws that protect people, or if it’s just the criminals are getting stupid and targeting anyone. Now obviously they were breaking into a house with no police cruiser, so it could have been random, the only thing that scares me is, No one was hit during the fire. That is where I have a hard time, everyone who was attempting to commit this crime was actually able to get away scot free. Nevertheless, even when you get away with one crime, there is another crime waiting for you to commit, and you may not walk away from that one.

I am thinking about the new laws that involve gun usage, and I’m not sure if it’s good that we can be so liberal now with our guns. Now I will say, I think that we needed to release the people from feeling like prisoners in their own homes, and then release them from the threat of burglars entering their home and them not being able to defend themselves. Florida is long overdue for a law that would protect a person and their domicile. As stated yesterday by me, I don’t think we should be protecting our stuff, but we should be protecting our lives and our families lives. Anything else is over kill. Some people will become trigger happy, some people will be responsible. Either way, gun crimes are on the rise, and the amount of people using guns to defend themselves is even more rampant.

All in all, we do have the right to bear arms and we do have the right to protect ourselves. Criminals better realize that we will not be tolerating being victimized anymore, and be it necessary to kill a man to protect our well being, homeowners are taking charge of their destiny and not waiting for law enforcement anymore. Most of the times by the time law enforcement arrives, the damage is done, literally. Take care all. Do what you have to do to protect yourselves. I know I will.
