Michael Jackson, King of Pop passes away today…

June 25, 2009 my favorite artist of all times, Michael Jackson has passed away. He is leaving a host of family that love and adore him. He is leaving millions of fans that love him and would pay anything to see him perform one more time. I would pay to see him moonwalk across the stage. I would pay for him to sing just one note of, “She’s out of my life” and be singing it to me.

My family and I spend much time grieving his death, and parts of his life. He was a most beautiful man with so many accomplishments. His talent was not only in music, but art, and so many were inspired by him to be better people and showing compassion for those that are in need. Michael Jackson was a giver before Oprah Winfrey came on the scene. Michael Jackson was an avid supporter of fighting the hunger and dire lifestyles for those residents of Africa. Michael Jackson was giving to worthy causes before we even thought about Donald Trump, or Bill Gates. He was a strong black man. Not a perfect man, but a strong, determined man. His life and legacy is in my heart. I went to the park today and attempted to celebrate my love for my favorite artist. He is truly remarkable. He is undeniably the most talented artist, and by far, the most compassionate and kind hearted soul you could have met.

I want to be more like he was. His life was true to his passions. He was a family man, who loved his family, both immediate and his siblings, as well as his parents. His smile used to melt my heart. His eyes made me want drown into them. His voice touched me deep and no other voice can ever make us feel that way. Many will come behind Michael Jackson, but trust this, Noone will ever come close to his success.

I love him dearly and his life made me want to live a better life. I am so grateful that I had the chance to see such a fine example of a human being. He truly gave his heart to America, he truly gave his heart to this world. I am honored to have known him.

Michael Joseph Jackson
