I didn’t want to write a long message on behalf of this story. I wanted to just state what the news provided and then present it to you.
Yes I have an opinion of what could have been done with the bail money. It could have went to some local Homeless shelters to assist the homeless. Orlando Union Rescue Mission is one of them. I think that since they’ve released him on bond, that he should not be out just hanging around the house. He should be completing some services in the community. I don’t care that he was not found guilty.
He will be at home, with his computer, his cell phone, all the luxuries, yet we have a man who is deceased at the hands of John Hawthorne. Do you think they are letting him off easy by giving him a bond? Tell me what you think.

Hey Blimpy, I’d love to camp out with you anytime. I normally let my readers say what they want, but sometimes the ignorant speak too, and Ryan has always been ignorant. To him it makes more sense to attack me and call me names than to actually look at the problem. I don’t know how anyone can think of protesting on behalf of a missing child case, then find out that the child is dead as a problem. And just as Hawthorne admitted the crime, then changed his mind, Anthony’s mother reported a dead body stench from her daughters car trunk, then changed her mind and said it was an old pizza. Lie lie lie lie liars. Murderers and their helpers need to pay the ultimate price.
Unfortunately no one just tells the truth and takes the punishment nowadays, they lie and perjure themselves under oath and pay a lawyer to lie and lie and lie until the criminals actually think they are innocent.

Pressure on the liars could bring them around. I think stints in jail would be a better idea, but camping in front of a house could be good too.

Well, Ryan, I see our blogging is certainly fueling YOUR rage, and you seem to have a lot of it toward Ericka. Don’t know what that hidden agenda is, but you need to address it.
Regardless of what you think of her, it was wonderful to have her support at the hearing. To see a smiling face was a welcome sight after driving all of those miles in anticipation of facing the murderer of a family member and the people who are working to defame our loved one in order to keep the murderer from being convicted of the crime he confessed to. We appreciate the fact that she has written about the case. We appreciate her.
We have made connections with several of your locals who know John but want to help us. They want John to get what he deserves. Cameron too, for that matter. Some of your friends have a conscience.
Until you have been in our shoes you can shelve your revelations and suggestions about our opportunities and lack of effectiveness. You don’t have a clue what we are doing. Yes, we are swimming upstream because the County of Orange in Florida is a cesspool with so many murders that the police can’t keep up with the investigations. In YOUR city and the news media there, John Hawthorne has been calling the shots since he first began to concoct his rationale for taking a life. The police report has clearly provided the truth about Hawthorne’s motives and mindset. It appears primary colors boggled his mind.
As Lon described, grief flows deeply and takes on many forms of expression. Quite honestly, i find it cathartic to depict John Hawthorne as the satan worshipper he is (whether HE knows it or not). And will continue to do so.
What have YOU done for the homeless lately, or for the gay people for that matter? Is it now the task of the Boner family to clean up your filthy dump?
Perhaps if you did the right thing by testifying about the activities in that woods and the true relationship between John Hawthorne and Cameron Milner, you could start the ball rolling.
Ryan, you obviously don’t know that what YOU think is our voicing hate for John, is us sharing the true facts of the case with the public and networking in your city. If you read the newspaper blogs you will see much MORE hatred toward John Hawthorne from people that don’t even know our family than what is being voiced here.
People in Ocoee are tired of living in fear among ignorant animals.
I would like to think that Joel’s case has “accumulated a spotlight”, but that is far from the truth. Where is it?
The world is a now a different place for me and my family and all those who knew and loved Joel Boner.
How DARE you assume you can perceive our grief.
And, as Lon said, Hawthorne and his camp, including Cameron Milner and his parents have not offered one word of condolence or show of remorse. All they care about is getting out of paying for the crime they have committed.
Joel Boner was an intelligent multi-faceted young man with a love of life; with hopes and dreams for the future. He did not want to die, nor did he deserve to.

Hi Lon, I meant to contact you via email, I sent Carolyn a letter telling her how beautiful you all were. Then I realized that I don’t have an email for you, unless this is the accurate one that you use here. You should have mine as well. Ryan, thank you so much for your comments, they let me know that I still have that touch for sparking honesty. I like to have an open blog forum, but when someone comes on my blog and curses me out and calls me names for having an opinion, then I get a little frustrated. If your comments were deleted, and I doubt they were, unless they were along these lines that you’ve presented today, then you deserved it. I tend to treat people the way they treat me.
Ryan, I don’t believe we’ve officially met, so therefore, I can’t possibly take your summation of me into account as I lead my life. Yes I am a protester and yes I talk a lot on this blog, which I have to remind you, it is a space for me. It was designed by me and I control the contents of it. That seems to be your real problem. I love and appreciate the Boner family, they are good people, and using their story to attack me is a bit below the belt. I did like your reaching out to them and wishing them some sort of solace/comfort, but you didn’t have to do it in my honor.
I believe that the Boner family is doing just fine, and if they want to curse, yell, scream, fight, whatever they feel they have to do in order to get attention for the horrible murder that their loved one endured at your friends hands, then they can do it here. The Orange County Murder Map is up to 52; eleven more murders since my nephew’s in July.
The sad revelation I had last night is that people of John Hawthorne & Cameron Milner’s young ages have never known a world without rampant cruelty and violence. This is so heavy on my heart. No, i would not want children in this world. Joel was raised in a strict Christian home and home-schooled, kept out of the mainstream by his family until he was 26 years old. They had no television, no internet and no newspapers. He was basically a young child in his understanding of this declining, volatile world and had no idea of the cruelty, hate and utter disregard for human life people express through these heinous acts of violence.
He was a lamb who walked into the slaughterhouse.

I have since found out that the bond decision cannot be reversed unless John Hawthorne violates it’s terms.

Hawthorne is asking for his home confinement to be amended so he can “mow the grass”.
Now i think it is swell that Johnny boy wants to help his parents out around the house, but we’re talking 25 acres that border on the area where all those (as he & his supporters described them) aggressive drunken homeless bums live in tents. Have they been flushed out of the woods? They could be lurking and waiting for Johnny boy. Not only could he begin to ride his ATV around the property without anyone knowing it, heck, he might put himself in harm’s way. Will he hire a body guard?
I’m thinking it’s not a good idea for Johnny.

The crime was horrific, and now the killer sits outside the confines of the jail walls, where he should be. No one can understand this, and I don’t understand why it wasn’t overturned. I just heard this on Jane Velez-Mitchell’s program. In Florida MURDER is a NON-BONDABLE OFFENSE. John Hawthorne had confessed when he was arrested.
I found this statement online explaining Florida Court process:
Florida law gives the defendant the right to be released from jail prior to the trial. However, there is no right to pre-trial release in cases
where the person is arrested for a “non-bondable” offense. To determine whether the defendant should be released, the judge may ask about the length of time that person has lived in the area, whether the defendant
has a job, has family members living in the area, has a past criminal record or has been released on bond previously and appeared in court as required. The judge may release the defendant on his own recognizance, on monetary bond (either cash or surety bond through a bail bondsman), on monitored release (electronic monitoring device or bracelet), to the custody of a responsible
member of the community or to a drug program or mental health facility.
What could possibly be John Hawthorne’s criteria for release? Could it be that the dishonorable Judge John Adams was familiar with his family? John Hawthorne has a past criminal record, he is a high school dropout and is unemployed. He has no positive contribution to the city of Ocoee. Yes, he has a lot of teenage friends who party with him in the woods. Apparently his friends appeared at the hearing while the victim’s family was left totally UNINFORMED of this process according to a statement made by the victim’s uncle.
Put that together with the fact (public record) that his father, Claude’s prior arrest for possession of a controlled substance brought no charges whatsoever, and you’ve got a VERY ugly story.

A whole lot is wrong with the picture. The man who slapped the child should have had a serious charge, but noone was murdered in cold blood. It’s apparent that people react out of anger, but its not apparent when they go searching for trouble in the woods at 6:00 a.m.

BOND denied for 61-year old Roger Stephens who slapped a screaming child in the face 4 times in WalMart.
The 2-year-old victim sustained slight redness to the face, according to the report.
JOHN HAWTHORNE a confessed murderer who stabbed an unarmed man in the back 13 times and once in the chest is home on $2,500 bond in the custody of his parents who were accomplices after the fact.
CAMERON MILNER who watched the whole thing and assisted Hawthorne has never been charged.

Well here it is Sep 1, 2009 and more horrendous facts have piled up like drifting sand.
Cam Milner says he helped John Hawthorne (a regular man, little man about town due to the big and frequent parties he held on the land his parents own) by pulling Joel down to the groun from behind. Yes the young fella’s did it all from behind, no pun intended. Cam said Joel turned to walk away from the boy with the knife and that is when John attacked him with a knife. This accounts for the multiple
stab wounds found in Joel’s back ten or more in all.
The fatal blow was dealt to the frontal chest puncturing
the left lung as joel tried to climb aboard the ATV for a ride to the hospital. Yep this is what Cam has said happened
Joel asked for a ride to the hospital, jumped on, was pushed off and dealt the fatal blow. These are not nice boys. These are urban terrorists preying on the supposed homeless and the supposed gay. The acute perception of these boys is astounding is it not? Predators a step away from cannibalism. If Joel had been a well known actor we would write a book “Helter Skelter”. i don’t believe the manson family smeared ther own bodies, just the walls.

by the speeding Claude H to his home, where johnnie lived with his parents, the boys were asked if they knew anything about the stabbing (100 yards from the front door, just pitching a tent that close to Hawthorne manor is a capital offense) John said “Hell yeah, I stabbed him”. From their he spilled all the beans as required by law to face Capital murder as was charged by the police who had viewed the crime scene and Joel’s dead body.
John has stated that he “thought it would be a fair fight”

Both of these boys were there for the vicious murder. they both went to a site that was NOT UNKNOWN to them. They both tried to provoke a fight with their victim and when that failed john attacked from behind.
Claude should at the least be charged with evidence tampering and concealing a murder.
I believe that John Hawthorne should be in jail awaiting trial. When he is convicted of 2nd degree murder he will face 30 years of prison. Due to the horrible nature of his crime I have no idea why he was allowed bond out.
Here in the Atlanta metro a 17 yr old was charged with murdering a clerk over a $5.00 t shirt. He was allowed to go home to his mommy and soon became convinced that he was Tony Montana (Scarface), removed his ankle beeper left his mom’s house and did a home invasion the same day.
During the home invasion this boy shot the single mom in the face…beat and cut her infant child…
There are only spiritual explanations for these actions.

GA Woman Shot, Toddler Son Beaten
Police say a woman was shot and her 1-year-old son beaten during a home invasion in south Fulton County. Chattahoochee Hills police Chief Damon Jones says 22-year-old Nikki Neely was shot in the head during the attack just before 9 p.m. Monday. WSB radio reported that one person was in custody.
Ther is no report on her current condition suffice it to say in the early reports Nikki has a bullet stuck in the back of her skull, the bullet having penetrated her brain.
No punishment= tacit approval.
Joel Boner, awakened from sleep and murdered, the case continues to grow and the evidence is mounting. If you have kept up with what has transpired you know the questionable judge has been removed and replaced with a righteous Judge. I am hopeful that young john will be back in jail soon. Am I the only person who thinks he may be a flight risk? Then there is the matter of his family life…have they been complicit in the destruction of evidence? The story is being cleaned up every day at the home of the Hawthorne’s.
For Joel, his siblings, parents and extended family justice is required to satisfy the natural demand for criminal punishment and closure. Victim’s families have the right to seek justice and proper resolve in wanton crimes like this. The Boner family has many questions concerning Joel’s murder in Ocoee.
John and Cameron committed a hate crime. John by his own hate speech admission branded Joel as “gay and homeless” and in his mind he killed for these reasons and the pleasure he derived from it. Cameron watched John murder Joel. Cameron made no effort to stop the crime, but as John has said helped John to gain control of the victim as he, the victim was being stabbed to death. These first time killers had no idea how difficult it is to kill with a knife. After controlling the victim and stabbing him fourteen times the killers became befuddled and tried to leave Joel (for dead) but Joel rose and asked his assailants for help and for that the final blow, which pierced his lung, caused death. The first to speak to Joel who was found collapsed on Bluford road within sight of the convenience store there has reported Joel’s last words as “please hurry”. This witness of Joel’s final moments said the victim was bleeding heavily from the mouth. These boys did not expect Joel to live and they did not expect him to rise and ask for “their help”. Joel was able to move about two hundred yards to the spot where he was found. Who would have thought that?
It is important to resolve this heinous murder and every murder. Murder is a crime against society and the individual. Most individuals in society will not commit murder. For that reason alone murder should be discouraged by proper judgment and punishment. No grandstanding by killers. What is the benefit to society and civility to allow self-confessed murderer to direct the trial? Let the facts of the crime scene, the evidence from Joel’s body stand alone in evidence before allowing the “story “ of the killer to pervade the court.
Nearly 100% of the media coverage presented is sourced from John Hawthorne himself via the first report on the news. In that report police stated what John Hawthorne told them. I have no idea why Cameron Milner has not been charged. Milner absolutely qualifies as Accessory before and after the fact and in between he qualifies as an accomplice to murder. There need to be charges filed now.
Set an example in sentencing that will provide a deterrent to the crime.
That Florida is now the #1 homeless torture/murder state in our country is a thing of shame not honor. Perception is important. Roll back the clock on prosecuting criminals in Florida. People were safe to travel and enjoy the scenic beauty FL offers.
Take stand against lawlessness, we are a nation of laws, return to enforcement of Capital Crime.
