Fugitive murders 19 year old Seminole County woman

The man investigators say kidnapped and killed a 19-year-old Seminole County woman should have never been on the streets. Investigators say a wanted fugitive kidnapped the woman from a Longwood car dealership where she worked and murdered her.Fabiana Malave’s body was found inside a vehicle at the Post Time Lounge at the corner of 17-92 and Dog Track Road (see map). The man accused of killing her was found there, too.Overnight, the investigation turned to a home on Elinore Drive in the Pine Hills area of Orange County (see map) where the suspect lived. A search warrant was served there early Friday morning.

Seminole County investigators were at the home all night and crime scene investigators loaded their vehicles with bags of potential evidence from inside the home where William Roger Davis III may have lived. It’s also where investigators believe he may have brought the 19-year-old and killed her.The story of the bizarre kidnapping and eventual killing started Thursday afternoon. Seminole County investigators say Davis showed up at the Super Sport Auto car dealership in Longwood (see map) demanding the title for a vehicle he purchased a few days ago. For some reason, he grabbed an employee at the dealership as another employee was getting the title.

Malave was grabbed and kidnapped at knifepoint. Investigators said Davis forced her to drive him to a vehicle he had parked nearby. Investigators believe he then brought her to the home in Orange County where he killed her. “Obviously, he identified her previously and had every intention of doing what he did. Speaks to a very sick individual,” explained Lt. James Clark, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office (watch full interview). But he didn’t stop there. Malave’s family, friends and police spent hours looking for her. The whole time, investigators said, Davis was driving her dead body around in his vehicle.“He then brings her back into Seminole County, back to the exact location where her vehicle was waiting. We don’t know if he was coming to discard her body in her vehicle or what the rationale is right now,” Lt. Clark said.Investigators said family and friends spotted Davis when he returned to Seminole County, followed him and blocked him in the parking lot of the lounge where he first parked his SUV earlier in the day.“He was taken into custody immediately based on the statements he made and we discovered the body in the car only several feet from him,” Lt. Clark said.“I don’t understand,” said Greshem Alicia, the victim’s best friend (watch full interview). visit www.wftv.com to see exclusive video “Just want to know what went wrong.”Seminole County investigators will only say the 19-year-old has no signs of obvious trauma, but aren’t saying how she was killed.Eyewitness News checked and found out the suspect in the case has a long criminal history. William Davis III has been arrested several times for aggravated assault, burglary, and false imprisonment. He was sentenced to five years in prison in Polk County and ten years of probation, but he moved to Orange County. He was considered a fugitive from Polk County at the time of his arrest Thursday night.

I’m actually not far from this place at all. This was a senseless murder and it could have been avoided. I’m proud of Seminole County Law Enforcement, they stopped a rape yesterday and that is impressive. I don’t recall hearing anything about a woman being kidnapped from a dealership, but it must have been going on and I was busy or something on another story. Was their an APB put out or anything for him? There is a lot missing for this story, but I am saddened that it happened to this young woman. I am also upset that no one at the dealership did anything to stop it. Were there any men around? No one was able to stop this guy from taking an employee from a business.

I find it hard to believe. I also find it hard to believe that we women give in so easily. I recall hearing on Oprah a long time ago, “Never let the kidnapper take you to the next destination.” Really, it must have been public, and I know that Dog Track Rd is right off a major highway of 17-92, there is so much traffic there. Someone would have heard her scream, and I’m surprised that no one saw her being taken out. I may have to take a trip down there to see the business and it’s layout for myself. Women, don’t just let a guy come along and take you where he wants you to go. There is a such thing as fighting back and yelling until you’re hoarse. I guess she just went with him quietly. This young lady probably would not have died if she had defended herself. We can blame the Sheriffs office or Polk County, but one things for sure, you have a role to play in your own safety and you owe it to yourself  to become more assertive. I think this company should hold themselves responsible for not having proper security. These women who were left in the front lines became victims of something horrendous. One of the reasons why I don’t like the idea of being a receptionist anymore. No protection for you whatsoever. You’re left to fend for yourself basically. Sad story.

It is now being reported that Fabianas family and co workers waited for 5 hours before reporting that she was taken by knife point by an irate customer. They stated that they were attempting to search for her and had their own search party looking for her. What the hell were they thinking? You don’t witness a person being taken away at knife point and think that you should hunt them down yourself. By all means if you gotta help, HELP! But make sure you call the local police first! That is why we pay them. They are waiting for a crime to take place, so that they can intervene. That is why they are called law enforcement! Geesh! Her boss was on the news crying his eyes out, but hell its too freaking late to cry now dammit! This young girl is dead. Was there anything this man could have done to prevent this from happening? Now my question is this. If the news reported that Fabiana Malave was taken at knife point, where did they get the information from? Please tell me that they did not know that she was kidnapped and that they did not wait for 5 hours to call authorities. This can’t be true! No way can this be true.
