John Hawthorne who is currently out on bail for paying the amount of $2500.00 for murdering Joel Boner is now requesting “free time” around the house to roam in his yard. John Hawthorne states that he is unable to do the chores and help out around the house. So this is the basis for his petition with the courts. What kind of nerves does this guy have? I tell you. This boy is a menace. He has all the trademarks of a sociopath. I’m not kidding. First you commit a crime of cold blooded murder, then you find a way to turn the tables and make yourself out to be the angel. His trial needs to start Now. This is outrageous and another slap in the face. Ooh boy do I hope when he gets to prison that they have their way with him. What gives him the right to think that he should be even allowed to “roam freely” about his property? I’ll tell you what, the justice system does. Some silly attorney with no morale or scruples is fighting for his behalf because of democracy.
Now let me add this. Lets not forget that before this arrest, John Hawthorne was a drunken addict who has a violent temper and who partied heavily. Not to mention he was drinking underage and a high school drop out. What was he contributing to this world? Nothing and probably wouldn’t ever be. Now we’re supposed to believe that he has mended his ways and is now “born again” ? Oh please, spare me the bull. This Kid is still a cold blooded murderer and as far as I’m concerned, Ocoee is not safe. How can I convince them of this? Sometimes skin color is all that people see in the judicial system. I wonder if it was a black man would he be wandering around the property. Hell no, you know it. I’m just not afraid to say it. I’ve gotten a lot of crap over this case for my views. So what, that is what makes me a great writer, I don’t care what everyone else thinks. I like my thoughts better, and if we agree that is wonderful. If not, I don’t care. I’ve seen black men get arrested for carrying a small bag of marijuana and are still doing time for this. This white kid kills a man in cold blood and he is “free”. Oh and what the hell is house arrest? House arrest is not for murderers, it should be for the smaller crimes, Misdemeanors and such. This man is a FELON, He confessed to murdering this young man Joel Boner. This is indeed a slap in the face for Joels family. It’s a step in the wrong direction for our justice system.
Ooh and a little foot note. John Hawthornes attorney states that “John Hawthorne has not broken any rules since he’s been on house arrest, and therefore the courts should grant him the option to walk around the yard and help out.” You hear that, he has not broken any rule. This man broke a commandment and murdered an innocent unarmed man, by stabbing him 15 times in cold blood, he took pictures of himself in the bloody clothes, he took a shower after killing him and did some laundry, he never reported his crime. Now we’re told, “he has not broken any rules”. Why won’t someone kidnap this attorney and hold him hostage? Sorry guys, you know this stuff gets to me. What an idiot this guy is…

Who says that just because they are Christian that they have to sit back and moan and groan to God in silence? They want justice and they deserve it for their loved one. You say Hawthorne had nothing to offer the world… did Boner, the “world traveler,” contribute anything to anyone? I think not. He was a bum.
And I love how the Boner family has been described as good Christians, peaceful people, etc.
And here we have his relatives screaming for blood and unmentionable acts.
Way to live a Christian life, folks.

Having the statement transcript, all conversation is recorded and transcribed, I feel empathy for the Milner’s. They have tried to raise their boy Cameron right and now have recognized him as a drunk, pot smoking accomplice to murder. “it is over son we can’t help you now…”

Joel bled to death due to your assistance in tackling him to help John and you refusal to hear God screaming for you to call for help! You & John went & showered and soon found the police at the Hawthorne estate where you lived with John, bunk beds.
You need to be forthcoming with something beside “mm-mmm” Listen to God and do what is right. Oh you do not know him do you? Orange county is not the only court in FL.

Yes, 2 completely different stories. I was just thinking ahead to what the defense for Rodriguez might come up with. No comparison intended. Should have been 2 separate posts.
The only similarity is that it also occurred in Orange County. I’m just loosely keeping track of defense strategies.
This is a whole different story here. There is nothing innocent about John Hawthorne, and there is nothing that caused John Hawthorne to be a “victim” he was his own worst enemy, so comparing Jason Rodriguez and John Hawthorne are too different scenarios. I wouldn’t dare go there. Jason Rodriguez was “displaced” and was lost in contact with reality. Jason Rodriguez hurt people, because He was hurt, John Hawthorne had received no prior inflictions that would cause him to murder Joel Boner. I’m not upset with the defense or it’s possible strategy for defending Jason Rodriguez, and I’d eagerly defend Jason Rodriguez if I were an attorney and wouldn’t look in John Hawthornes direction. All court cases come with mitigating circumstances, and all of those will be dissected and challenged. I believe in Jason Rodriguez, just like I believe in a case where anyone fights back. No I don’t condone the vigilante approach to anything, however, I totally sympathize and understand why a person would. Too many times we walk by and forget to acknowledge the pain that we inflict on others, Jason is just as much the victim here as the ones he hurt, and even the one he killed.
In saying this, provided his statements are true, and provided that the entire story is true, my confidence is reassured in my summations.

And now the “They left me to rot” defense will set a precedent for all the gold-digging defense attorneys defending violent, bitter, hate-filled angry people with no self control who dream of retaliation and stew in their own poison.
My sad revelation is that people of John Hawthorne’s young age, 19, have never known a world without rampant cruelty and violence. This is so heavy on my heart. On the other hand, Joel’s family made every effort to protect him from the John Hawthornes and Cameron Milners of this world. Joel was raised in a strict Christian home and home-schooled, kept out of the mainstream by his family until he was 26 years old. By choice, they had no television, no internet and no newspapers. Joel was basically a child in his understanding of this declining, volatile world and had no idea of the cruelty, hate and utter disregard for human life people express through these heinous acts of violence. With his dying breath he did not give up Hawthorne–he asked for help. “Please hurry”. Joel could have said the names of his killers–he knew who they were. He never spoke against anyone.
At 30, Joel Boner was a lamb who walked into the slaughterhouse.
Joel Boner’s life was ENDED in a violent act of self satisfaction, retaliation, anger and hate.
Why does John Hawthorne get to go on taking up the oxygen on the planet much less live at home with his parents? Why does Cameron Milner get to hide from the spotlight and resume his regular life?
And the beat goes on in Orange County.
Ryan Skipper’s Murderer, Bill Brown, was FOUND GUILTY.

The crazy thing is that Florida is one of the states that has capital punishment.

I have since found out that the bond decision cannot be reversed unless John Hawthorne violates it’s terms.

house arrest at the Judge’s discretion. I say discretion my a%%! It is discriminatory because people of color don’t WALK! Check the records to see how often that has happened in Orange county.
